Point cards purchased under the old system are unchanged, if you still have a $25 card (450 points), it's now worth $113 in play.

wow, how long until that gets changed somehow? That seems really stupid on their part (and REALLY nice on my part!).

they're probably ok with it. i'm guessing there's not THAT many people that have hundreds of points just laying around, at least compared with the number of people that come in and buy a card and never use it again.

I think I still have about 400 points across three or four cards here.

Fuck yeah. Cheesy

It's a shame GF and DM are both having problems; GF was in I/O Test when I went today, and DM's cymbal is slowly dying (not to mention the machine is nearly silent). Pop'n is still pretty good though, and SN is good...as far as SN goes. Extreme was turned off today...not sure what that means.

Pop'n Music has disappeared..I'm not sure if it's being repaired or if it's being moved.

Supernova is fine, except the 1P Start button is stuck down, so you can't pick songs or mods. 2P pads are in decent shape.

GF is fine, the 2P side was removed because buttons were missing.

DM's cymbal is in rough shape but still responsive. Volume has been turned back up a little bit. GFDM session volume is good.

DDR Extreme is back up, but pads are bad as ever. 1P side is playable if you don't play heel-toe.

Unless they've taken it completely out since about 3 days ago, it's been moved right next to the big ass Indy500 thing.

Last I saw, the cymbal was completely removed from DM and the machine was out of order.

GF has both guitars back, and the stuck button on Supernova has been fixed.

...hopefully this means the cymbal is being fixed!

So did the GFDM cabinets get moved or was the only change the volume? It'd be nice if they weren't around a corner from each other now.

Drummania has been repaired, the cymbal's been replaced.

Oh yeah, and all the prices of the games doubled (pre-2 point prices)

I just got back from GW and was about to post that, heh. The machine is in superb condition now; however, it's still too quiet.

I talked to the tech today; apparently the part they needed was on order for the whole downtime. They also are ordering a new hi hat and snare preemptively.

Wait... so they're doubled from the 2 point prices, or back to the original prices?

DM is 5 points now. I didn't check anything else. It appears time cards are back in some form, but again I was lazy and didn't check it out.

lol, yeah its cause when I've been there to play SF4, these guys with time cards would just swipe them every couple of seconds, and since they were so good at the game one guy would consistently win over and over on one of the cabinets so there would be 60 credits left over. They did that on both so basically everyone could play for free.

There was a little crowd of old-timers at Gameworks tonight... Mike, James, Amber, and some other people I met for the first time.

There are plenty of people who play bemani games at Gameworks that are pretty good, more people throughout the night than our group (although they weren't quite James/Amber skill level).  DDR and the other music games at Gameworks aren't dead yet...

Most of the machines were in good condition, excluding 2P Taiko's outer rim not responding. Supernova and DM (the two I played) working really well.

KevinDDR, have you been at gameworks recently. My Max 300 record was beaten by you. I'm just curious when you went. I might have seen you.

Haha...you noticed! I just went for about 45 minutes to an hour on Sunday, but I don't recall seeing you. Let me know when you're going some time soon! We should meet up! I need to get some AAAs at Gameworks, too...
