I LOVE Astronomy. Hell, I've always had an infatuation with heavenly bodies. My current background:

I really like stars and all the NASA space pictures are awesome.

I like looking up at the stars because they are so infinite. Science keeps expanding on its research on the 'verse and I honestly believe they will never find it all. There's just too much out there.

My science teacher in high school had a chart of the size of just our whole Milky Way Galaxy compared to everything else discovered so far, and it's just mind boggling.
This chart kinda shows the same thing... going from 7 on down, our galaxy is just a tiny drop compared to everything else out there.

Astronomy pictures make awesome wallpapers.

Also, I have an astronomy class and I'm hating it for the most part.

OMSI HAS A HOLOGRAPHY LAB NOW?!?!

OMSI:
That's some serious ownage there.
I remember Seattle having a pretty cool science museum too, but I can't remember anything about it except some huge junk-art piece on one of the walkways we took to get lunch when we went there.
I haven't been to Seattle in 4 years. =(

All this makes me wonder how unique the Earth (or life) is.

Snow_balla > I'll be sure to remember you whenever I look at the moon.

Oh lord. Astronomy = astrology.

I'm such a nerd about that stuff, I'm going to refrain from saying anything at the risk of sounding like a huge jerk.
