February 21, 2007, 11:36:31 PM - ORIGINAL POST -

I will be offering transportation to my house from Acme after all.  If you want me to take you to my house from there, be there by 5:00pm.

DISCLAIMER: No alcohol or illicit drugs are allowed.

For those of us who are new, the Bring Your Own Bemani events are an attempt to bring our community closer together, and, as the name implies, possibly even expose people to other music games.  Started last year by DMN, this will mark the 5th in the BYOB series.

Starting time: 6:00pm

Address:
3717 260th Ave SE
Issaquah, WA 98029 (more nowhere than ever before.)

Directions (From I-90 East):
1. Take Exit 17.
2. Turn left at the light onto Front St N.
3. Turn right onto SE Issaquah Fall-City RD. This is immediately after the 76 gas station you'll see on the right.
4. Go up the hill and straight for a couple miles, then turn left onto Klahanie DR SE.
5. Turn right onto SE 39th Way.
6. Turn left onto 260th Ave SE. My house is to the left of the cul-de-sac at the bottom of the hill.

Provided:
- PS2, JPS2
- GCN
- XBOX IS HUGE (...)
- N64
- SNES w/ roughly 20 games
- Two TVs: The 21" one in my lair of doom, and the bigger 28" one in the bonus room.
- One modded IIDX controller, and every CS IIDX from 3rd-HS (no BMUS though).
- Ping pong table
- Apples to Apples
- Tada custom Fluxx deck

Bring caffeine.
Bring IIDX tables if you do not like playing from your lap or the floor.

RSVP here.

All I'd like to say is I'd like it to start on 3/19, 20, or 21.
That would be optimal for me, and also, many others are on break, and therefore may not have anything planned for these weekdays.

I keep forgetting that I've lived basically 5 miles from you for the past 3 years. I've really got to host one of these some time again.

Totally. And next time will be better as I'll actually have a house and my KBM is coming indoors <3
I move in March so hopefully sometime shortly thereafter.

Sorry, I'll stop with the thread derailment now.

I'm willing to forget all the bad times and start over. That's what this forum was pretty much intended for anyways, a new start.

I wouldn't be posting here if I didn't intend for it to be for everyone. Of course, it would be in Marysville, so I know that exludes some of you right off the bat.

Zeppy: It's water under the bridge, dude.

I'm in. Since this is a Saturday, Tony's in too, unless he wants to hitchhike back to UW that night. Wink

You know, I probably need to host one of these too, sometime.

Yes, you definitely should.  Having it be at a different person's house each time was part of the original plan.

CSB> Maybe if we had more contests, subtitle could be "Tada vs. CSB". Cheesy

I'm just a lot more comfortable with something like that now that I actually know you guys fairly well (IE: trust you not to break things.) I would say that you probably don't understand how OCD I am about my carpets/the general cleanliness of my house, but half of PNWbemani has Asperger's so actually you probably do. Tongue

So... As long as it's not 3/24, you're in?  Please clarify?

As for Ultimate, Beaver Lake Park might be a good place to go.  I'll move the start time a little earlier if we do end up doing Ultimate (though 3/24 and even 3/17 are after DST starts; I won't have to move it back that far).
