385 seen/331 caught.  If only I had some moon stones, I'd have all of the first 64 spots in my Pokedex full.  If I had someone to trade with, I'd have the first 78.

Also, 20-win streak at the Vs. tower... but I lost to the tycoon.  Starting over, and I'm currently at 7.

Save is at 136 hours.

I'm sorry I can't be there for you. Sad

Anyway, I got 24th and 26th on the Joust machine at GK. (the dedicated, not the multicab)

64xxx and 58xxx
I'll try to get some more progress on it next time I go.  I think I can at least get to the top 10.

Back when I played this game, I was nigh unstoppable. Oh, I'm referring to Pokemon if you didn't know.

I stopped before Crystal came out, so my glory days were in Gold and Silver.

Here is the best time......seriously.  And no joke either.

Celebi
Tyranitar
Kingdra
Lugia
Ho-oh
Zapdos

Of course, this is only the best Pre-Crystal team.

It is the perfect balance of every element, and the best possible stats for that balance.

Also, remember to wisely use TM's and clone them so that all 6 of your guys has the perfect combination of moves. (i.e. Give Lugia Psychic.......trust me)

Always remember, never give a Pokemon a Rare Candy that you are intending to use and fight with:A Rare Candy gives a less potent level up than one earned from levelling experience.

Wait until you reach Lvl 100 before you give your Pokemon a single drug. Drugs are based on the Pokemon's current stats so it will be more potent at Lvl 100 than any other Level.

Always make sure each one of your Pokemon is holding the most complimentary item for its strengths. If your Pokemon has impressively powerful damage but has new move to cure itself, you might want to give it Leftovers to slightly compensate the lack of healing, ESPECIALLY if this Pokemon has sleep or paralyzing effects (i.e. your Zapdos)

If a Pokemon does have healing abilites such as your Lugia, Ho-Oh, and hopefully your Celebi as well, then instead of giving it Leftovers, make it hold an item that increases the attack power of the certain Element of that pokemon's strongest attack (i.e. Give Ho-Oh some Charcoal)

Also remember that every move on all your pokemon should be fully PP Up'd to avoid running out of your powerful moves and also providing you the ability to fight a war of atrition with a healing Pokemon.

Last, but certainly not least, make sure to catch all of these Pokemon at the lowest possible level you can get them. For Lugia and Ho-Oh, that means Lvl 40 and thus requires both Gold and SIlver to make the ultimate supreme team. FOr Kingdra, cath it as a lvl 20 Horsea so on and so forth.

Oh, and if you can't get your hands on a Celebi (I got lucky), you may substitute with an Exeggutor. They are surprisingly resilient and effective if given the right moves.

If you believe that this is not the most effective Pre-Crystal team, I for one would think you would be surprised, but if you must lay down your guidelines for building a stronger team.

Oh, and don't just saw 6 Mewtwo's. Lol lol, I've fought so many guys like that, and it only takes 1 Tyranitar. Whoop-de-doo.

I thought the vitamins raised the base stats of the Pokemon, not their current stats.  They changed the mechanics a lot in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, so things may be different now.  Though some (catching at low level, never giving rare candies) still apply.  There's also variance in stats between wild Pokemon who are exactly the same species and level.  From what I have heard, you also have to breed to get good moves/stats.

DT> 3rd generation (R/S/E) and onward cannot trade with 1st or 2nd generation anyway.

Still at 385 seen/351 caught.

My lvl 90 Raikou kicks ass, but unfortunately, I was dumb and gave it Rest instead of some leftovers, and even more stupid, instead of making it forget flash, I made it forget thunder, so it knows rest, cut, flash, and crunch. :/

Oh, and the vitamins don't work on it.  I tried to give it some iron 'cause its defense was lower than I wanted it to be, and it didn't do anything.  I'd given it a couple calciums and a carbos before, but no iron.  wtf's up with that?

No idea.  I don't think a single vitamin worked on my Dialga, and I could only give 1-2 tops of each kind to my Dragonair.  Maybe if their base stats are really good, vitamins don't work?

I guess that's a possibility.  Also, does anyone know why are the legendary dogs genderless?  Were they all neutered very thoroughly?

I guess it's so they can't breed. :/

Which is completely dumb and a half; they could just have an override code for the legendary pokemon that doesn't let them breed.

EDIT:
17th and 20th on Joust at GK.

My two scores from last week are now 29th and 32nd.

Personal high: 109k
Other notable scores: 89k, 64k, 57k

Machine high: 604k

1101 StarFox64, split game with my man John. I've never split more games than with this man.

I can't remember the exact values so this is an estimate at best.
Corneria (me)- 135
Sector Y (John)- ~115
Aquas (me)- ~230 (I'm good at Aquas)
Zoness (John)- ~170 (neither of us are good at Zoness lol)
Macbeth (me)- ~180
Area 6 (me)- ~210
Venom (me on StarWolf and John on Andross)- ~210

One of our best rounds overall.
