I saw this being constructed when I went to go visit my parents.  I guess this place is a big hotel with an indoor waterpark.  Its supposed to have a decent sized arcade though.  I'm not sure what games it'll have, look like mostly redemption.  I looked on DDRFreak, it looks like some of these places have DDR Machines.  Hopefully since this is a new place, they'll have something good, maybe Pump Pro or an SN2.

This place looks kinda cool. It's like $330/night/for everyone for a 4 person family trip down there.

There was actually a position open for arcade manager of this place in the paper.  I wonder what the job would entail.

I would imagine it entails managing an arcade/games and/or its manpower and customers.

sorry i couldn't resist

I'm just wondering if you'd need to a good knowledge of repairing the cabinets, mess with dipswitches, or microswitches in joysticks.  Not just managing a bunch of high school employees to run the ticket booth.

I went to this place about a month ago.  They had an ITG2 conversion cabinet.  Seemed like it was in decent condition.  Nothing else of interest though.

The place still looks cool as a waterpark though.

Yeah, the waterpark part is pretty sweet.  The only downfall to it, at least from what I've heard, is that you need to shell out the money for a room to use the park.  I think its like 150-200 a night.  This is just what I've heard though.  The place has some nice looking restaurants too.

Ohh sweet that it has an ITG2 machine. I should be going in about a month or two so I'll make sure to tell you guys how it is.

It's not up on DDR Freak.  Anyone know the price and whether there's admission?

I don't know what the price was, but the arcade is open to anyone, no admission.  I was there at some business conference thing, so I didn't get a chance to play anything.

$1 per game, 2 songs, shit sensors, no USB.

Don't ever go to this place for ITG.
