FOR THE COMPLETE LIST OF DDR MACHINES/Some Other Bemani - Visit DDRFreak.com's Machine Listing
FOR THE COMPLETE LIST OF ITG MACHINES - Visit Rhythmatic.net's Machine Listing

These are the venues worth mentioning (other venues have threads not linked to):

OREGON
Epicenter - Klamath Falls (DDR Supernova)
Ground Kontrol - Portland (DDR Extreme)
Lloyd Center Tilt - Portland (ITG2 Upgrade)
Seaside Funland - Seaside (ITG2 Dedicab)
Slick Kart and Arcade - Medford (ITG2 Upgrade)

Regional Sports Center in Springfield, OR.
-50cents a play, free entry if you're just playing ITG. R21 Dedicab, owned by manager so no screwy arcade distributor crap. Get cabinet keys from desk if you need to mess with volume (they'll turn it down sometimes since menu timer is off and kids will leave after one song).

KevinDDR Edit: Added machine listings and fixed links.

it's all Portland has for ITG... it'd be great if we had some other options, but alas

and Tilt has a good scene for SFIII 3rd Strike and King of Fighters XI, so WHATEVER

Yeah Tilt has cool people, good location and I like shopping so I can forgive the lackluster ITG experience (time to whore the Lloyd Center coupon books for free game at Tilt til Feb 28)

And I'm a chick so naturally I don't mind it being in Oregon's largest shopping mall.

Bam, go ice skating, eat some food, buy some clothes, play some ITG.

Lloyd Center is cool guys, don't deny it.   =P

Lloyd has boring stores; I like Avalon.
Belmont is teh shit. =)

DMX and Panic Park make up for how beat-up the didder is.
But they need IIDX and I'll be truly happy forever.
Seriously, one can chill around Belmont for 2 hours, get pizza at It's A Beautiful Pizza, then go to the Avalon and enjoy 20cent DDR and 15cent DMX for a couple hours, and go home.

However, the Iceskating does give Lloyd a bit of advantage.
But the $1 per game kills it.
I can never bring myself to spend more than $10 when I play on $1 machines, and I always feel ripped off after just 30 songs.
I guess I'm just spoiled by living near the Milwaukie Wunderland.

PANIC preg_replace('/(.{49})/u', '$1 ', 'PARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK')

Ok, that's it. I'm so going to portland.

Avalon is boring.  DMX is more boring.  Panic Park is a fun multiplayer game, but Avalon is a ghost town so who are you supposed to play with?  Ultracade is nice if you need something to kick.  I went there every week for over 2 years, and while I haven't gone since 2005, I highly doubt there's anything new.

Tilt on the other hand is really awesome.  It's right by my house, the machine is in good shape, it has ITG2 with r21, it's busy, the employees are cool, DINOSAUR KING (!!!!!!), and I can go play 2 or 3 rounds casually then go do something fun in the mall afterwards instead of staying in the same smelly arcade for hours playing to make up for the admission fee.

I like getting 30 minutes of gameplay out of 15 cents myself. Wink (DMX Marathon mode)

I generally go with friends, so there's always someone to play panic park with.
And when I get tired, I play TD2.

I don't think it's too smelly, but then again, I have no sense of smell to worth mentioning, so. . . Grin

I've never had trouble making up the entry fee in 20 minutes myself.

I am biased against Lloyd Center.

There is a wonky ITG2 at The Break in Eugene, but a wonderful DDR cabinet.

I can't beat your "Worst Driver" score at my local arcade (Milwaukie Wunderland) 'cause the machine broke.
Asshole.
Actually, I once managed to rack up $3mil in damages, but I couldn't finish the race, and so it never got to the boards.

I generally get around $700,000 per game nowadays, although I'm probably rusty because I haven't been able to play since December.

what? I don't even remember having a high score on the Worst Drivers list  :?

All I know is that it's fucking impossible to rank in on the fastest times at either Avalon or Beaverton. Seriously, I complete the US course with no crashes and I'm still like 10 or 15 seconds from even making it on the list. How is that fucking POSSIBLE?

The times were much easier to beat at Milwaukie, but.... it broke? Damn.

Yeah, and the manager doesn't want to fix it.

Milwaukie's sux now.

The ONLY machine there worth playing now is DDR, and it has a stupid hunting game with it's volume really high and one of the speakers hanging over the P1 side.

When I started going there a year ago, they rocked.
