I think some songs rating is judged not solely by their passing difficulty, but there scoring difficulty as well.

Sakura is easier to pass than high end DDR 9's such as HVAM, Orion.78 Civ, Cartoon Heroes, etc..., but hell, if Sakura isn't hard to AAA with it's gay 14 BPM arrow and offsync slowdown. I think it's harder to AAA than any 9, and yes, I've played them all.

Same goes for Bag, dur!

Anyways, I should just stop about the rating things. We all know there are a few songs with controversial ratings or all around bad judgement in how they were rated (TL100S shouldn't be an 8, nor should Daikenkai Oni), but human error exists and all in all, the rating system is "more like guidelines then actually rules."

*Cue Barbosa impression*

Wait, Least 100 Sec is an 8?!

What the balls?

Anyway.  I have some scores from half an hour ago.

Passed every song on Single Mode on DDRExtreme now, the final one being MaxX Unlimited. Cheesy

Got my speedreading up to 510 comfortably again, which is why I was able to beat MaxX Unlimited (x1.5 or bust)

Starting off slow, I played Mr T, and got a new record, but seeing as my old record was sightread from 10 days ago, not that exciting:

Then I decided to up the ante and play Rhythm and Police.  Didn't bother to change the speed mod:

Then I thought, "MaxX Unlimited tiem!"

Splooged all over the screen.

Then I remembered that I needed a score for Candy*

I also remembered that I needed to kick the shit out of this song:

Played some mad dubbles

Then I decided to do a 30ft set.  Sakura (87mil; weak grade), then Max 300:

First 10 over 90 mil for me.  I must be playing this song too much.

Then I finished it with PS.  A bit disappointed:

James, you're right in at least one respect: Federal Way is definitely the worst town in Washington.

Yeah, I played some ITG today. I don't wanna talk about it.

I just got 2 on Be Lovin' today. You can either look it at as I got twice as many greats as you or only one more  =P

AAA's

Let's Groove
E-Motion
My Sweet Darlin'  (First Re-AAA)

I call it a smokingly amazing day for me, probably so-so for you guys, but I was really feeling it.

I prefer to think of it as twice as many. Or rather, that depends. Where were yours? Mine was between the second set of double-taps and the step-jumps.

BOTH of mine were in the jump stream.

2 Greats, one measure.

And since that part is so close to the end, I thought for half a second I was going to AAA it, but alas, I did not.

Oh yeah I got your text Ethan gj.

I totally got my ass kicked by it at the arcade the other day.  17 and a miss.

But I AA'd R&P and Xenon. Tongue

9 on bag

   Good work Ethan, I think this is one of your most impressive scores that I've seen so far!  I played this song so many times (probably a hundred over the course of two years) and only under got under 10 twice!  IMO you sdg'd the hardest song PA wise in the game (besides the obvious few).   Shocked

Oh man, thanks Matt, I remember when you and I played that song at that tournament at Acme last summer and I lost hard, so that's super duper high praise coming from you. I can definitely see this song becoming something like a signature song because I actually like playing it and I think I could possibly do even better.

GJ Tofu on R&P, I haven't played that in ever.

Actually, I was doing it x3.  I want to try it again x2 tomorrow (I'm taking my brother to Wuderland) and see if I can get it under 30.

It's actually pretty easy as far as 9's go.  I'm pissed that I didn't FC it.

Oni difficulty glitch? What's that?

on ddr extreme, if you switch to another oni course and hit start before the song list changes, it'll use the difficulties of the other course instead. so you can do things like go from naoki neo standard to legend road and play max300 and maxx unlimited on standard instead of heavy. but be sure not to glitch an oni only song to another difficulty. the machine will reboot.

Some stuff from today (will upload pictures when I get home):

Max 300 - AA, 54/1/0/1/2 (fucking finally!)
Cartoon Heroes - AA (HOLY CRAP!)
Xenon - AA, 56g fc
Burning Heat - 56 and bullshit combo breakers.
Mobo*Moga - 2g
Stoic Doubles - B

There were a couple others.  Still splooging over the Max 300 and Cartoon Heroes.

I must admit Tofu, your scores don't seem to make any sense compared to eachother. You AA'd Max300 and Cartoon Heroes on the same day?

I AA'd CH seriously like 7 months before even Sakura. Cartoon Heroes is really freaking easy.

Good job on the Max300 AA though.

Wait....and then you get 50+ greats on Xenon? MORE greats on Xenon than Max300?

Yeah, your strengths and weaknesses are completely different than mine.

Crap, I haven't numbered mine.

Let's see, I have....1, 2, 3, 4,.....5 machine AAA's.

Yeah, not that impressive, but Ethans #54 - #56 reminded me that I better number these suckers.
