-A Non-Stop or Oni Course will be selected for the month from either DDR Extreme or DDR SN2.

-Player names will be your forum names.
-If there's any other ideas you'd like to throw in, please feel free to do so. You can join at anytime; submitting your scores will automatically enter you in the ranking.

Star Course Completion:
An Asterisk will be placed next to your name for every completed course played.

Achievement Badges brought to you by BLueSS!
1) For as long as the ladder stays alive, the top user will get a "DDR EX LADDER KING" badge (or something similar) for the next month. Each month will update with a new winner.

2) If you want to get the badge for a course, you must enter the course when it's live the first time. No late entries or "beating a score later".
Badges are:

Rankings will be updated every Saturday or earlier if needed. I have attached an Excel file for all details on current and past Non-Stop and Oni courses.

Other Related Challenges
-Other related challenges are: anything thought up to give challengers another challenge, can be random miscellaneous challenges, and can be from other dance games (i.e ITG, PIU etc..)
-I will be the one to think up the challenges. You may suggest ideas as well.

Are NSX and Dr.Z the only ones that care about this anymore?

I definitely still like the idea of this challenge. Both Moses/"Rudo" & Gerrit/"Anon" have completed at least one course that hasn't shown up here, but they seemingly didn't feel it was worth submitting. Until there's a legitimately playable Extreme cab, I don't think many people have access to a good location to contribute competitive scores.

I haven't had the chance yet this month to see if Evergreen Lanes raised the volume enough for me to pass the present Oni course, but that was a significant handicap last month. Then of course, the Extreme at Gameworks doesn't seem playable for Oni in general (due to regular pad errors).

I would still encourage the peeps in our community to attempt getting at least ONE score per month, so we have some spots filled. Being that Acme is pretty much the most popular arcade, perhaps these monthly challenges need a little tweak in format--at least until Acme gets its own Extreme cab. So instead of there only including Extreme courses, NSX could offer the option of a monthly course for Extreme, Supernova, and Supernova 2.

I'd care about this if I had access to an Extreme.

I'll be trying some when Acme gets switched in the Extreme machine. Which supposedly is still happening right?

I could put the Extreme challenges on hold for now and switch it to SN2 until Acme gets Extreme if that's what anyone wants to do. I've been playing SN2 more frequently than usual. Let me know what you guys would like to do : )

So I've decided to put the July Extreme courses on hold and start a new course for SN2 for the new month of Aug. We'll do SN2 until Acme gets Extreme. Until then, enjoy SN2!

There are perfectly playable extremes in Everett, Tacoma, Snoqualmie, and guess where? West Seattle. "no access" more like "don't wanna go to a non acme arcade"
I think Alan is the only person who lives closest to acme of all those places.

It is much faster for me to get to ACME than any of those places, but I do really need to give Roxbury Lanes a try, since that isn't terribly out of the way. Smiley

Are the pads at Roxbury Lanes in good condition?  As far as western WA public DDR/ITG machines go, I only really trust Masterman-owned machines these days.

I've never been to roxbury but evergreen in Everett, tower in Tacoma, and the one in Snoqualmie all have aaa worthy pads. Snoqualmie is furthest but awesome little town and beautiful views of the cascades! Tower is a masterman machine as well.

Actually, Snoqualmie looks like it's pretty close to me, but I don't see it on the list of arcades.

It's some little arcade on the downtown street of Snoqualmie.

Re-opening in April (or sooner) regardless if Acme doesn't have extreme by then. I apologize for the inactivity that has grown over the few months - I'm tweaking/adding/re-naming to have more possible things to do than just DDR Extreme. I'll re-post again when it's up and ready. I have some ideas brewing...

Random note: I'll also be doing Suko's Super Challenges too!
