Hey guys,

Before the Programmed World shutdown I sold a couple of e-amuse cards in preparation for X3 at ACME going online, which never happened for obvious reasons. Those cards will not work with the cabinets at Round One because it turns out they were made specifically for other networks. HOWEVER, I have a few cards that will work on the official Japanese network being mailed to me tomorrow, so I was hoping that I could give the couple of you who bought cards cards that will actually work at Round One. Send me a PM so that as soon as the cards come in we can coordinate!

Round One is actually going to have real e-amuse set up?  Huh.

I'm thinking about taking their opening Friday off of work to go check it (the arcade, not specifically e-amuse) out.  Smiley

Yeah, all the new Bemani games require e-amuse, so what Round One does is get permission from Konami to route all their machines through the Japanese e-amuse server. It's the only place with legit e-amuse access in the US, which is why it's such a big deal whenever a new location opens; it's basically "Now this place has an opportunity to play recent Bemani games."

I wish I could find some sort of official information online about when they're going to open (date/time), rather than the unofficial rumor mill that says 'sometime on Friday the 26th'.  Also ran into a few new employees last week who were playing some arrow-stomping at ACME who said something about Thursday the 25th.

Friday the 26th seems to be the popular story, but I don't see it from an official source anywhere.

Will round 1 sell e-amuse cards there? I imagine so right?

The Round1 in LA sold e-amuse cards for $10 a piece at the counter.  I'd imagine this one will have them too.  They also had cards for other games like Project Diva and some of the racing games.

Nykkel, the main Round1 thread has a link to the opening day info.

I agree with the person in that thread who said they wish Round One was more communicative.
