- ORIGINAL POST -
Although having a "New BBS celebration" BYOB seems like an awesome idea, those require a little bit more planning than a casual meetup, so I propose that in an effort to all get together and party sooner than if we planned a BYOB, we schedule a casual meetup during which we go to ACME, and then around nine or ten head over to Denny's for some food and Apples to Apples.
I am leaving the date as a couple of question marks because personally, all of my Fridays and Saturdays are spent at ACME around these times anyway-- I have a stressful week, and this is my way of unwinding. The thing is, in order for this to be truly celebratory, I'd like to have a *lot* of you guys there for this... that said, I want to know when you guys are free from about 6 pm to midnight. I've been told that Saturdays are a lot better than Fridays as far as there not being a lot of random people there, so probably a Saturday? Post your ideal date here.
As a sidenote, if anyone feels spontaneous, I could bring A2A tonight as well, and we could go steal a booth and get some nachos and have a short game.
EDIT: It looks like popular opinion has agreed on the third, so I'm setting this as the date.
EDIT 2: In an effort to make this game more fun for everyone, I've added a list of ways to make Apples to Apples more fun for everyone involved to Serious Business-- it's just not as awesome of a game if everyone is crappy at playing it.

The problem with eating at ACME is the fact that we all get kicked out at 11-- if we eat and play apples to apples somewhere else, we can stay a little later.
Alternately, I suppose that I could just let people who want to keep hanging out after close come over to my place afterwards-- it's just that it's a far drive for most people and I'm really anal about my carpets getting messed up.

I'll be there in spirit.
I still haven't gotten around to learning how to drive, and I doubt I can get a ride on a week's notice. Also, it would have me getting home (SE Po) pretty late, and I might have a party to go to that night anyway.

I could potentially get up there, but the return would present issues, so I'm not so sure

So what time are we doing this? I probably won't be able to get to ACME until at least 4-5ish.
Funeral@1PM up in Everett. Having said that, I could probably give Mike a ride to no problem, but not sure about getting back.

Yo dudes, just joined (this board). I guess the ddrfreak board is dead enough; I'm finally convinced to get into a larger community =P
Anyhow, let's see if I remember anyone by going to this shendig.
Pantsu-You live in Tukwila? That isn't far from ACME, and my way home is to Kent, so I might be able to drop you off on the way back-though it kinda depends on what side of Tukwila you're on. If you're North it might be better for someone who lives Seattle-ways to take you back. But I could probably do South or East end.

Joe is his name. He's an awesome person in general, but I dunno if I could bring him. It'll probably just be me going.
