As long as it doesn't end up out in the burbs somewhere, I'm happy. My only problem with ACME is that it's a huge pain to get to if you live in the city and don't own a car.

That said, this seems pretty legit. You can view a translation by going to Google Translate and uploading the PDF:

Looks like they're related to these guys in California, as the logo and name are very similar.  After a little poking around, I'm 100% certain of it, as one of the documents on their web site mentions a branch at "Lakewood Center Mall" in California, which is one of the locations on this English web site.
      http://www.round1usa.com/index.html
If they are, there's a "guests under 21 require a guardian 25 or older with them at all times" rule in the Rules section, but the front page says under 18 is OK until 10pm and such, so only one of those two things can be correct.

Page 11 of the document says they'll be opening branches in Texas (Allentown?) and Illinois (Strat(d)ford?) in fall of 2014, then two in California (Santa Ana, San Jose) and one in Washington (Seattle) in spring of 2015.

Oh, here's an English document that's a little older, but is similar.  Page 13 (page is numbered 12, but is 13 in a viewer) has a version of the 'upcoming branches' graph that doesn't mention Washington, but mentions a few of the others.

I hope it goes North of Seattle. It seems like everything is down near Tukwilla. Give us northern people some love.

Great news. If anyone is unfamiliar look at the other Round1's in California. They have a deal with Konami and always have the newest version of all Bemani games and a connection to the eAmuse network. They also always have either PIU Fiesta 2 or Infinity.

No, eAmuse is only available to IIDX and GITADORA at the moment. Every other BEMANI game is still stuck with some previous version that can be played offline (DDR X3, pop'n 20 fantasia, etc.).

Im not invested in an eamuse account anyway so I dont care.  I usually only visit seattle once a year but its a bummer that they will not have sunny park.  My version of sunny park is very out dated

Round 1 is planned to be built on top of seafood city, with a first floor entrance that rides up. will have to wait a couple months and check. they are hiring for general manager positions and training starts on january 18th. wonder how this will affect acme bowl's business.

any idea what games will be there?

I hope there's atleast one PIU cabinet and maimai.

I've lost interest in ddr and other 4 penals games, i tried 8 penals but tbh i'd rather play 10.

The Seattle location is "coming soon" on the website and job postings are on the site, so it shouldn't be too far out.

All the other Round 1's have at least two PIU machines. A couple have three.

I hope it opens early in July since I'll be in town then.

Great news, I can't wait for some new, functional machines! Maybe it'll make people want to play more... I've been out of town for awhile and I was hoping to see if anyone wanted to get a meet-up group started.

anyone interested?

Absolutely! Once R1 opens I'll probably be there multiple times a week and likely almost every day over the summer if it's open then.
