Thanks for the update. If you could let us know when Brian readjusts the volume, that would be great.

Update from last weekend (Nov 13th, 2011):

The machine has been moved to the corner of the arcade room, away from the pinball machines. It's a great location, but the volume is really low. It's playable if no one else is in the arcade, but they REALLY need to turn up the volume on this thing to a reasonable level.

Has anyone been here recently? I've gotten the urge to play, but I want to know if the volume is up to an acceptable level.

I just went and I couldn't even here the darn thing. I was looking here to see if you guys had any insight into it but no luck. Of course it was the late night bowling with the lights and music so it was a bit loud elsewhere, but i swear there was no sound coming out of the speakers at all. Major disappointment, but i did find that playing in the silence created a bit of a zen like concentration.

Wow, that is REALLY strange. I just got back from there and the music was acceptable to me. Who knows, maybe they turned it up this morning?

I'll have to go back there then. I have about 50 tokens that need to be used! btw, i also live really close to evergreen lanes, only a few blocks away, so if anyone wants to dance with someone there feel free to hit me up, i might not be doing anything. 425 319 9022.

I won't be getting out of work until 6, so I probably won't make it in time. I have been wanting to go back and visit that place for a while now, so maybe I'll force myself to visit this weekend.

Please post an update and let me know how the machine handles and how loud it is.

I am very happy to report that this machine is back in awesome condition.  The last time I came to Evergreen a few months ago the sound was not working at all (before that the sound was very low). I returned today not knowing what to expect, and the sound was the loudest it's been in probably a year, IMO it's set just right.

Played 8 songs on the 2P side (two sets + extra stages) and did not have one pad error. Both bars seemed secure.

The other Everett Extreme machine in the theater at Everett Mall is in bad shape, tons of pad misses (and I stomp pretty hard!) and the Majestic Lanes ITG machine is even worse... so be sure to enjoy the only good machine left in the north end!

I might head there this weekend. I'll bring my vigilante repair tools with me in case the 1P side needs some help.

alright, a few updates here, Pads are still working really great, 2nd, the machine is now set to only 2 tokens to play 3 songs, and Every machine in the arcade is either only 1 or 2 to play (most are 2). and 3rd, it is now 4 tokens for a $1, 20 for $5, and so on, which is the main reason why they dropped it to 2 tokens to play. That is all Cheesy

Thanks for the update! That has to be the best price on the west side for a game of DDR Extreme. I've been meaning to make a trip there SOMETIME soon, but I'm been lazy/busy/choose your excuse. Hopefully I'll get over there sometime soon.

Anyone been here recently?  I really, really want to beast some extreme double, and this is the closest place that has a good extreme last I checked.

Update on 2/2/13:
I just went by there today and here's my report:

Sound is nice and loud. Dare I say, maybe too loud? Either way, it was great for my PA.

The pads are good/great. The right side felt fine. It might not work for 100 lb bracket players, but anyone who flat foots and isn't trying to play PSMO with minimal toe taps on the inner sensors should do just fine. The left side needs some sensors in the UP and LEFT arrows. I did some vigilante pad repairs and got them to be pretty good (I AAA'd Twilight Zone on them as a "test"). However, I still think that the up arrow doesn't work well to light taps on the inner-most sensor. Honestly, without a handful of new sensors, there's only so much I can do for these.

So, all-in-all, the machine plays really well.

Oh yeah, the right side coin feed is borked, I wouldn't use it.

Notable update for Evergreen lanes:
They no longer have DDR:Extreme or Bemani games of any kind.

I haven't been there in over a year, but I was afraid of this. I wonder where the DDR Extreme went to?

Time to check ebay/craisglist.    Unless someone knows who managed Evergreen Lanes' arcade?
