I made a visit to Acme a couple days ago.

Volume turned down a slight on Terminator,
Volume turned UP on PIU
Volume turned down slightly on Guitar Hero
Song select time set to the maximum that the game program would allow.

Hope all is well now.  :-)  Enjoy!

Can't wait to try it again. Thanks, Bill!

I had to pick my roommate up from the airport today so I swung by a little bit ago to check it out. Everything is a lot better now, no problem finding what song I want to play unless I'm being incredibly indecisive and the volume is fine even if Terminator is being played.

I brought in a roll of paper towels and left it on the right side of the machine because the panels can be dust magnets (and thus get incredibly slippery!). Hopefully it won't get thrown away.

Edit: I will say that the stage break settings feel pretty punishing on the last song of the set. Not sure if anything can be done about that, though.

Dunno why but the ITG 3 machines been eating far tooooooo many coins lately...

I heard the coin mechs been changed but obviously it's not working. Probably lost about $3 bucks to the machine today!

Are refunds out of the question?

I've always gone up to the desk to ask for a money back, when the ITG cab ate up at least $1. Personally still in favor of a dollar-acceptor being attached to it, since quarters are more tedious & it costs a dollar to begin with  Tongue

Pump It Up machine was out of order tonight with... "monitor issues".

I hope it malfunctioned, rather than being broken by an irate passerby.

I called about the coin slot yesterday since it has definitely been getting worse lately. As for refunds, the front desk can provide them, but they're not enthusiastic about it and often want to put an "Out of Order" sign on the machine. You can give the coin slot a light whack if it eats a quarter and it usually gives you your credit, but please be gentle as not to break anything.

Bill, do please look into this! Thanks!

In fact, I did look in to this yesterday.  Ran quarter after quarter through and did not miss a credit.  This POS must be cursed!  Makes me wonder if ther is a difference when the coin door is closed, as I was testing it when it was open.

PIU is alive again.  It's monitor had taken a bad dump, had to come back to the shop for repair.  But our wondertech LCD Mark got it going in no time this morning.  :-)

Went to ACME after a while since they got PIU and that super huge stuffed animal crane. Machine worked great! Quarter slot was a little funky sometimes. The PIU machine is down though, not sure what happened.

PIU is dead once again, the monitor repair did not hold up.  Will likely replace with a new monitor Monday.  :-(

Damn...    With Pump broken we'll have to get Street Fighter back at Acme.

Or... When Pump is fixed we should totally get Street Fighter back at Acme.

I was actually kind of sad when I found out that Street Fighter wasn't there anymore, would've loved to have some good old fashioned arcade matches.

Pulled in the main PIU cabinet, as that monitor took a dump after being repaired.  Mounting a brand new one today, and game should hopefully be back Wednesday.  Sorry bout that guys

I might be at ACME on Sunday in the late afternoon if time permits; I'll be in the Seattle area seeing a friend

How does that new monitor look on PIU?  Hoping it works well.

The monitor looks great! No visual artifacts or flaws of any kind. Thanks, Bill! Cheesy

The only issues I noticed from playing last Friday are...

  • The P1 side: the bar is extremely wobbly
  • The P2 side: feels like there isn't any screws holding the panels/brackets in place as it is very loose

Other than that it was great and the monitor is fantastic!

2nd coin slot on itg seems jammed and ate one of my quarters. Also, someone left their green shirt behind the machine

One of the guys at the front desk left a voicemail for Bill about the problem with Feista 2 and hopefully will have it fix soon.
