Added packs yesterday, forgot to fix the new CMod set while I was at it. I'm heading back to Acme in the next hour or so, so I'll take care of it today.

EDIT: CMods are on the machine now. Every 50 BPM from C450 to C1200.

Just curious, do you guys have humidity issues with the pads some days? I swear my pads get sticky and unplayable alot of the time, and powder just makes the problem worse. It's been raining alot the last few days/soggy snow so I figured I would see. Humidity % has been really high the last couple days too.

It is weird, ever since I started playing with socks the last few days, I've been noticing that the pads get sticky about 2-3 sets in. I've also noticed that powder doesn't really help much either. I'm not sure what the direct cause is, but it could potentially be that when you sweat, you could be wiping it off with the sock, thus the sock gets wet and becomes tacky. At least for me, that is what it seems like. I wear 3 layers of socks so I just alternate them when I feel that tacky/sticky feeling and it usually gets better, haha.

Yes. It gets really bad sometimes in my garage on rainy days. I use a box fan to blow across the pads while I play. This doesn't cool me off too much (it's already really cold in the garage), but it does help keep the pads dry and less grippy.

Hey guys,

Just making a quick post about the stage at ACME!

I've redone the entire player 1 side, seeing that it appeared to false trigger every once in a while. Here is what I did:

All arrows have two 2 inch pieces of weather stripping on each L bracket. On top of the weather stripping I added layers if tape:

Up Arrow: 10 layers of masking tape
Right, Left, Down: 6 layers of masking tape

This provides the best feel and timing at the cost of being slightly recessed.

As for the player 2 side, there is far more tape on each L bracket. This is to test how responsive the arrows are when they are perfectly flush with the center panel.

At the moment each arrow has two 2 inch piece of weather stripping and on top of the weather stripping layers of tape:

Up Arrow: 18 layers of masking tape
Left, Down Arrows: 16 layers of masking tape
Right Arrow: 23 layers of masking tape

The player 2 side is playing really well but there are some false triggers. However, the arrows are perfectly flush and feel amazing.

I will continue to keep everyone posted with regards to the stage!

Again if there are any issues with the stage, please post on the forums and I will fix it ASAP!

@Tony

This MIGHT be a working link for Simply Love:
http://r21freak.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23504

I probably might just be trying something that already doesn't work here, and I'm not sure whether the cab at ACME runs on oITG or SM3.95, but I tried it on my oITG, and initially it had a few problems, but then each of those problems disappeared each time I rebooted oITG and it works like a charm now.
The OP link is the one I downloaded the theme from.

Note to all:

You may not be able to recognize me. It's "mane-ly" because I won't come in looking like that regular "neigh-borly" kid that comes in to play ITG normally. I just hope that when I come in, I won't shock you guys enough that you'll attack me out of fear - I don't want to get into any "horse-play."

But, "hay," I'll see you all pretty soon, and this is just a little precaution Smiley
I hope to beast with you guys!

("Neigh," I'll probably have to fail a few 13s first)

Last night was awesome even though the rotation on the machine was crazy last night.

Chris and Abbye - its always awesome seeing you guys. I wish we could have got in alot more games in but its ok. Kevin, you are getting better but you need to work on your FA its the one thing you slacking in because your stamina is alright but you need to practice on that. It was awesome to meet the other Chris, Tuan(not sure if I spelled your name right so I'm sorry if I messed it up.) and Josh. Hopefully, I will see guys around more often when I'm able to go out there.

Anyways, I won't be out there today due to it being Valentines day and my wife would kill me if I ran out to play a few games on today.

So far the ITG 3 machine ate $3.00 worth of quarters. Seriously, someone needs to address this! I can't keep paying $1.25-$1.50 for every game.

Here is the sad part, I can't even get my money back from the front desk. First of all, they will tell me that they can't/won't. Second of all, they will put an out of order sign so we can't play. Finally, this issue is causing people to hit the coin receptor to try and get their deserved credit.

Fix this. Don't just put a bandaid over it, fix it.

Thanks!

Yeah, especially since the outer guard isn't that much of any use to the cab. Machine still eats, and people can still damage the cab from hitting it in an attempt to self-reimburse. The front desk refuses to refund you or at least get back the eaten credits, and if they do decide to give you anything back, they have to also put the machine out of order when it's clearly still functional but just needs some sort of adjustment with the coin guard.

I didn't really want to bring this up before since it was just a minor issue, but if it's happening to others a lot more, something should be done or tried.

Hey Bill,

Seems like there is a big problem with the ITG 3 machine! The timer is back on, it costs $0.25 to play, and the arrows on the stage are set to scroll in the game menu. I don't know if a technician tried to fix the coin receptor and just accidentally revert it back to post Sakura con settings but its pretty bad. Everything is messed up, including the timing window. Obviously, there are going to be a large number of players tonight so I'd suggest it be fixed ASAP, otherwise I don't think a lot of people are going to be happy. There are already 2 people there and they are pretty upset.

All the work Tony did over the last 2 weeks have all been erased as well! This is unacceptable... I'm actually pretty upset, please correct this MAJOR problem.

All the money we put in to score was in vain... So much playing down the drain...  Sad

You can leave the $0.25 per play though!

The machine was perfectly fine when I was there earlier today and I didn't change anything. Whatever happened, it happened between me leaving at 1:00 and whenever people first saw the issue.

The cost per play and timer are in the operator menu, but the arrow scroll thing can only be changed manually from the command line - Bill's techs wouldn't have tried and even if they did, they couldn't have gotten in and done anything without the admin password.

There are only 3 possible explanations:
- Some really weird OITG glitch changed the settings
- Somebody set up a bootable USB drive and bypassed the password by loading their own OS (i.e. someone tried hacking the machine) and something went horribly wrong
- Somebody tried turning Simply Love on

I'm leaning towards really weird glitch, since no one with access to the theme settings (me plus Bill's techs) would have had reason to change it and no one else would have been getting into the machine, because I'm really doubting anyone tried hacking the machine in the last 3 hours.

This will be easy for me to fix, but I can't get down to Acme this minute. I was already planning on going tomorrow morning, so that's the worst case timeline for a fix.

Whoa, WTF?
Our tech did go there to install new coin switches yesterday morning, as I saw the posts about it eating quarters.  But he did not go in to the program.  He was there around 11:00 A.M Saturday morning, sounds like before Tony.

I think something glitched by the sound of things.

Just saw our service reports.  Someone called yesterday, and our guy was up last night.  Turned the pricing back, and also noticed that custom songs were turned off, so turned that on.  Hope things are better now?
