It was probably that stupid piece of shit security guard that's mad at the world.

Is there something you want to talk about Travis?  Shocked

I already talked about him lol. He's an asshole. He kicked me out for having a subway.

I think bowling alleys frequently have rules against outside food or drink, much like movie theaters do.  So that might have something to do with getting kicked out for having Subway.

Well I know lol but I was used to the other dude, Vick, not caring. I think Vick is a much better security guard though; he's focused on more important shit.

Hey guys just posting to say the someone tampered with the modded pad sometime between Friday and today. The right arrow on the player 1 side have been completely stripped if the foam/weather stripping and the down arrow had the tape removed. Sara and Allan put in some time making the pads flush and near perfect, so please do not touch the foam and tape unless you know what your are doing. The player 1 side right now needs work again because someone messed with it, I don't have the supplies right now but ill fix it up tomorrow.

Again, whoever messed with it just ruined a perfectly good pad and wasted Sara's and Allan's time.

I noticed it was recessed when I went to play sunday night on my way home from shopping. I'm sorry that happened you guys Sad

Chris, did you at least manage to get the tools/materials necessary to upkeep the pads yourself?

The foam tape I use is called "EDM rubber tape." The kind from home depot is white. It's pretty thin too, slightly thinner than the brown stuff I use, but still works well. I recommend getting 2 packs of this at least. Masking tape + Allen tools to tighten the bar are a good idea aswell.

Also, I think a post should be made here as soon as a change has been made to the pads, keep a log of what has been done and when so we can more easily track the source of new problems.

Off topic, anyone have a link to the Sharpnelstreamz pack for download? I have not been able to get a working link from where I've looked... Divinelegy's appears to be a corrupt file every time I download it and the few others I've seen have not worked at all. I'd appreciate Roll Eyes

Got the modding done on the player 2 side! It's as flush as I can get it without false triggers and without the arrows getting stuck. IMO it's pretty good, way better than before.

Also, 4 triangle brackets have been removed from 4 different panels; 1 from the P1 side and 3 from the P2 side. This was to prevent the panels from getting stuck. All four panels I've removed a triangle brackets from still have 3 on them so people can't get into them. Please note that the triangle brackets have been removed to make the pads playable so if its possible please do not replace them. They are in my possession and I will give them back to a tech as soon as possible!

To the players at ACME, feel free to contact me via text message if there is a problem with the arrows and ill be at ACME as soon as I can to fix them.
Here's my number: (253)389-3574

Thanks!

Just wanna say that Fiesta 2 has been upgraded to v1.30.

New songs:
Y2Z - Affinity
Dream to Nightmare - Nightmare (easiest difficulty is a 19 O_O)

You're welcome and enjoy! Smiley

Also, I played a couple games of ITG. I like the "new" pads; almost 99'd Again EX11. Thanks for the foam modding; it really made a difference! Smiley

Awesome, I'm glad you liked the modded pads! I'm really happy we were able to get this done. I'll be sure to keep the pads maintained and keep them up to par.

Is there anyway to have CMOD on the machine without having a USB plugged in? Obviously, our USB ports have been busted for 2 years now and I don't think they'll ever be fixed, so I was just curious if there is a possibility.  Tongue

Hey everyone!

I'm posting to let everyone know that I've made some adjustments to the player 2 side. I've rotated all the arrows and added more foam, effectively raising the panels! It is now super duper flush, nearly on par with the center panel. Also, I've removed 5 more triangle brackets to prevent the arrows from getting stuck and false triggering. The triangle brackets are on corner to corner so people can't tamper with the arrows.

I'll be putting in some work on the player 1 side today from 3:00-5:00, so if you are coming to play at that time, only 1 side will be available! Seems like the right and down arrows are not registering consistently, especially on quads and corner stomps. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress!

Everyone has to come and try it out! Please leave comments in regards to the modded pads, feed back always helps!

Again, if there is anything wrong with the panels feel free to text me and I'll be there to fix it!

Hey just posting again to let everyone know that the P1 side is perfect! Just finished working on it and there seems be no issues. Both Abbye and I've been testing extensively to make sure things are up to par, spent roughly $40. Perhaps Tony can help us next time considering he has a key, lol!  Grin

Same as the P2 side I have removed 8 triangle brackets. I've left 2 per panel, 1 on each corner to prevent people from messing around with the arrows; they are on opposite corners. I also rotated all the arrows to give a better flush feeling, nearly even with the center panel.

I wanted to note that the left arrow on the P1 side has 2 dead sensors; one on the top and one on the bottom. Only sensor that responds well is the one closest to the center panel; the one our foot actually hits.

For the bottom arrow, I noticed that the sensor closest to the center panel wasn't registering as well as the one on the bottom so I switch them around, IMO the best arrow on the P1 side after the fix/switch.

Only issue right now is replacing the dead sensors on the left arrow. Other than that, it's up to tip top shape!

Again feel free to contact me if anything is messed up.

Thanks!

Sorry I couldn't make it out. I got really lazy and over-committed myself to things last weekend. gotta take everyone ~one step at a time~ I'LL TRY TODAY! I'll also bring some tape to work on the center sensors for doubles in case you didn't do that yet. Cheesy (idk if you did, I won't touch anything if its already done though)

I did have a doubles player say everything was fine last Thursday when he was there playing.  Roll Eyes

I foam modded all the sensors and placed foam beneath all the triangle brackets, so this should help people who play doubles.

I actually stopped using Tape. It started to have the panels false trigger and get stuck, not 100% sure why but I found that panels w/o tape works really well.  Roll Eyes

ITS AWESOME. You did a fantastic job! Smiley I didn't do anything good though because I haven't played hard stuff in 2 weeks. I'll get back into it though! I probably need to work on my pads now; the sensitivity isn't as good as acme, thats for sure!

Something about the pads at acme makes me really like it there. I think its because it has Roxor pads instead of andamiro pads. I'm honestly not sure. Maybe my pads have just gotten worn down though heh

It's because we're never happy with what we have. I love your pads.

Don't you mean they're Andamiro, not Roxor? The ACME ITG2 is a 1st generation machine like mine, which was made by Andamiro. Later models (like Tom's) were made under the Roxor name.

(I'm finished and will go back into the shadows now)

Both Abbye and I put in some work to make the pads the best they can be! We will continue to maintenance them as we play on them, probably 3 to 4 times a month.

Both Abbye and I want you to get back to beast mode so we can crush the dance floor soon.  Grin
