Personally, I like Extreme AND new DDR. I am not gonna lie and say I wouldn't be more inclined to play Extreme for awhile though - I really miss it!
Obviously my opinion is biased, since I'm a Technika player, but I would LOVE to see Technika at ACME. In addition to it being really polished and pretty easy to pick up, Technika also has its own community, separate from PNWBemani.net, that is huge - people are pretty much constantly playing the one at Gameworks - and is full of super good sports whose positive attitude would be an awesome influence on the ITG community.

I'd like to see either Technika or ReRave. Both will appeal to a wider audience than dance games ever could in this day and age. Mainly because of touch screens. People are super familiar with them so in my eyes both are a safe bet.
Though I am biased towards ReRave. Mainly because I've worked on it and It has a 46 inch touchscreen.

I had a lot of fun seeing old and new faces yesterday at Scott's house, but I really need to get back into practice/shape and will probably be more motivated to pass songs when I'm actually paying (lol), so I'm probably going to do some nice afternoon ITG at Acme. Feel free to hang out, I would love to catch up if I haven't seen you in literally 5+ years or meet you if you started playing in the last 5+ years.
See you there folks!

Anyone have any 8-9 foot recommendations(no hands, few/no crossovers preferred) on ITG? I haven't played in a long time and hope to go tomorrow. Only asking cause Keby said there were over 1,000 songs.
Thanks friends

Easy As Pie 1, 2, & 3 have fun and catchy songs that aren't hard.

Thanks Angus. Checked out the packs but they were too scary for my level.
Acme looks a lot different...In a good way of course.

Thanks Angus. Checked out the packs but they were too scary for my level.
Deliriously Delicious is made by the same people as Easy as Pie, so it's got a pretty similar set of somewhat intense 9's. A lot of Jayce's charts are fun 8's/9's; those will all be under Jayce, The Past and the Lulz, and Wishing Well (as well as Gimmix Again, but those a really gimmicky, weird charts, as are a few of the charts under Jayce - check the high score before you play a chart, if it seems unusually low for a 9, it's probably best to try something else). QooL and Super Secret [I can't remember the rest of the name] are from sightread tournaments, everything is in the 7-9 range and generally more technical than stamina-driven. I've had good luck with Hard 8's from Rebirth 2 - I've only checked out a few, but what I've seen are more like 9's and fairly fun. Lastly, the Sakuracon packs have a good difficulty spread and full sets of charts for almost every song.

Thanks for the guidance. I just got my pad working again and I'll check them out.

Went for the first time in quite a while after a couple games of piu in Bellevue. I didn't realize how many custom songs there actually were, pretty awesome.
One thing though, twice stray balls from the basketball game landed on the pads. Not sure if it was just bad luck or what...

Saw the new Pump it up at the show here Vegas yesterday, pretty cool. We are going to see if we can update a newer cabinet we have to this new version for Acme. :-)

Another vote for PiU Infinity. I want to get better at 5-panel/10-panel and the version looked pretty cool, honestly

Holy hell I will be all over Acme if you get PIU Infinity or ReRave. If you have both I might just fail school (not actually) but I would be there ALL the time.

What is UP everyone!
I been super quiet for about a year now
but it was all part of the plan. I will be finally returning to ITG/DDR and more importantly, ACME, starting this coming weekend (either saturday or sunday) and plan to be going at minimum once per weekend
Any new changes, songs, or things I should know about? Last time i played routinely was Try to Quad tournament time. Been like a lion locked in a cage, waiting to come back! If you want to know why i was gone for a year, read the next paragraph (it may get long), otherwise, I will see you guys soon!
(p.s. my friends that I'd normally come to ACME with will also be coming soon too)
It all started when I was doing just about all 12's with relative ease and could not crack Summer -Speedy Mix- for the life of me, trying at least 20-30 good times, as well as a few other 13's. My biggest problem was being able to hold the rail, my arms got more tired than my legs calves and core ever would. So I set out to not simply take a break, but train and workout specifically so I won't ever worry about arm endurance again. The training consumed itself and in one year I've gained 45 lbs and am now 170 lbs
, (was 125 at Try to Quad). Though 30 lbs of that is muscle, ~15 lbs of fat was gained, as most bulking does, but I been looking forward to the cut/lean down portion for ages, now I can finally play ITG and resume high intensity/volume cardio. It won't take long to shred the weight at all. Most importantly, it is time to get back cracking, hit the ground running, and not only get back to where I was one year ago, but beyond what I could do before. I crave to crack the 13 footers and beyond. I still have my favorite things about the game, so GAME ON!

Welcome back to the scene! Several packs have been added; particularly (of personal interest) the
ITG Rebirth2 ver2.0
has been added, which to me basically feels like InTheGroove4 in a way.
(Pack link)
Best of luck in dominating those 13s~
Then go for 15s

I noticed tonight that the up arrow on the left side of the ITG machine was acting up a bit. It seemed to be occasionally sticking. Can someone take a look at it?

Dr.Z and I will be at acme tonight, i'll be there between 7-8 for arrival time, and begin to shake off the massive amount of rust on me to uncover the ITG warrior within once again. I'll see if that arrow is acting up, and report back if I see an issue as well.

I played the same 8 twice in a row when I got there because I accidentally hit the green button. First time I got a 95 or so, second time a 89. Up arrow...

Dr. Z and I went there, I couldn't verify the issue about the left arrow, but the up arrow on P1 side is looking bad. James got about 7 way offs and the rest fantastic in a song, i ended up getting many straight up misses/way offs. It was off and on, but we saw it happen numerous times.

What time were you there and had problems? Our tech's had hoped they found the faulty sensor early Saturday afternoon.

We both arrived just after 7:30P.
I mostly played on the right-side myself, but I saw the inconsistency happening enough when James and Nimm played that the left-side definitely had an Up-arrow issue still.

we should also note Dr. Z and I went on friday night, not saturday. If the techs visited on Saturday, it may be fixed by now. I believe Gerrak went today so he may know the condition if he tested p1 side.
