Just an FYI - Bass pedal on the DM is broken - the spring appears to be busted or gone completely as the pedal just sits flat now  (no recoil).

I can confirm this. I was there yesterday.
Umm and also the 1P coin slot on ITG3 is broken, but the 2P one works fine so its not really that inconvenient.

What was the deal with PIU: Pro and why did it leave? Was no one playing it? How valuable are these machines, or are they pretty much worthless?

I don't play PIU, but from what I heard, there was some glitch were you put a coin in at a certain time on the game over screen and PIU:Pro would get confused and give you like 17 credits. And obviously once that exploit got out it was abused beyond belief.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but this is the only explanation of why it left acme that I've heard. I could be completely wrong. I'm just going on what I've heard.

PIU: Pro is at Narrows now

DM bass pedal was repaired Sunday morning.  Thanks for posting about it, as nobody had phoned in that problem.

Yes, PIU had a free credit glitch.  BTW, that has been finally cured for a few months now.  Funny thing, it still does earn poo poo.  If anyone wants that cabinet, 2800.00 buys it and hauls it home.  yes, it's at Narrows.

I think one reason it doesn't make much money is because it's $.75 for 2 stages. Also there are alot more Pump players in the Seattle area than the Tacoma area so if i goes back to Acme I think it'll make a decent amount especially now that the free credit glitch it gone. I remember people like Kevin and Jose wanting it back.

I was gonna say that! Most of the Pump players go to Acme anyway. Pro is good but not really worth the hour-plus drive to Narrows for. I'm sure it'd make more than SN or Max2 is, at least.

Bill, you don't have any spare DDR or ITG pads I add to that purchase that I could switch out the PIU ones for, do ya?

Suko, WTF?  Not sure I understand your question.  We do not have any spare PIU plastic arrows.

PIU is just not a big enough earner to justify a spot at Acme, and they would not be pleased there to see it come back.  Wish we had more room there so space would not be at such a premium.

He wants to have DDR pads for his PIU machine... You could always buy the wonderful betson pads directly from their site for $8800!

Bill, he wanted DDR/ITG pads because it's possible to run a hacked version of ITG on Pump cabinets providing you have the right pads and a JPAC or IPAC.

Not that Acme really needs it, but I thought this was a cool promotion from Stride Gum...

Be cool if more companies did something like that.

Yeah, my original statement was a bit confusing. But what Iori and Kevin said is accurate. But I won't know if I should buy your machine for another month or so. If it's still available then, I might jump on that.

Btw, did the PIU Pro cab have selection arrows on the cab & USB ports?

Awe, I get it now.  Sorry, no pad assemblies.  That could be some hard stuff to hunt down, but bound to find it sooner or later.  I will keep my eyes open.

ITG's 1P coin slot has been eating quarters but sometimes gives them back if you push the eject button. And Tuan got alot of pad misses on Supernova and we couldn't tell where they were coming from. The Supernova at Narrows should be checked too because I'll be getting pad misses sometimes there. Thank you sir and enjoy your day

Yeah, Narrows Supernova is having some pretty bad issues. Would it be possible for, say, Amber and I to meet up with a tech there to check out the pads before the tournament next weekend?

Yes, meeting at Narrows would be a good idea.  Either wednesday after 2:00, or anytime Thursday after 2:00 would be most awesome.  Actually, Tuesday should be open too.  I can Danny up to meet with you with a handful of sensors.  I think it's best he works on it with you guys, as you can teach the tech in this case, haha!  :-)

Thank you Kevin. I was at Narrows this weekend, and the supernova is in need of some love. Hopefully it will
be fixed soon. To introduce myself, I'm nimesh perera/NiM, I played in a few tournaments years ago, I hope to see
you guys soon.
