Yeah, I'm also interested in whatever happened to the ITG2 machine.  I may go and play if it's any decent in the next few weeks to see if I'm still any good after my Afterburner crapped out on me and I haven't bothered fixing it yet.

When I was there a couple weeks ago it was working fine.  Sucks for hands, so I imagine it would also suck if you weigh less than 100 lbs (I weigh 140ish so machines tend to be iffy for me), but as long as you roll your holds and step firmly, 1P side should give you solid play, and the USB slots are both working.  I can't testify for the player 2 pad, but it seemed to be working alright.

The P2 side's condition is abysmal now. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the arrows only have one working sensor. Fortunately for those who don't play double, the P1 side is in decent shape. And by that I mean pad errors are unlikely to cause a player to fail a song.  Cool

Are there any machines with sensitive pads left in the Portland area?

Apparently Malibu Raceway's Max2 is pretty decent.  I haven't confirmed this yet though.  I know I will for sure once I move since I'll be living within walking distance of it.

ok so i was just hear last sunday and it was really nice i thought, i played the player one side it was perfect, you can't heal/toe and really expect to get away with it but honestly it's an upgrade, i wouldn't expect more.
i didn't have a Flash Drive on me so no screen shots or custom checks but the volume was good and it was nice to see the origional ITG2 theme lol.
however there was a for sale sign for just under 4,000 that made me upset, i hope they keep it so i can keep going.

It has a price tag on it every year if I recall.  Might be wrong though.

yeah i actually looked at a pic of the cab from a while back and it was still there.

Does anyone play here anymore?

the scores on it are really good for an upgrade.

EDIT: also is there a thread for the ITG2 in Seaside, because i was just there and it was really really nice except the volume was lowand the screen failed on me while playing once

Played on this machine a couple of days back... Oregon Syndrome (All the good sensors from the bad side are reallocated to the other) but the L side is great. I'd say it's better than Malibu, but I only played one game so I won't try to hard to defend this somewhat unsubstantiated claim. Memory card slots work, but I think the HD has seen better days because I saw the dreaded music drop on main menu + freeze upon menu change(obviously a part where the game is loading from drive instead of what was previously cached to RAM on the menu). Hope the machine holds up, get your games in while you can.
Before I neglect to log in for eons and post this: DMX KOR works.

Levi's at Tilt! pretty much every saturday. He's really good at stamina.

I complained to Tilt! coporate since their machine kept on incorrectly reading everyone's USB drives.
After I complained to coporate, they immediately fixed the P2 side. It's in better condition than the P1 now.

Downside to this machine is that some part of it overheats, so they have to keep the back of the cabinet open at all times for air circulation. Also, before you play a round always ask the employees to reset the machine for you, other wise the card reader may not work.

I am going to start fundraising so my college can get an actual dedicab, so we don't have to keep wasting a $1 for a round on this upgradocrap.

It's not hacked

I don't recommend asking the staff to hack it, either

I'd contacted Tilt! corporate April 26th (a little while ago I guess haha)
Since then, the pad sensitivity is better on the right side than it was for the past year or two. I love complaining when it gets stuff taken care of! >:]
I don't know when they started taking the back off of the machine due to overheating, maybe it was sometime in the past month.

The college that I'm raising $$$ to acquire an ITG2 dedicab for is Portland Community College.
When we're further along with our fundraising efforts, I'll make a thread about it on here.
