So I don't even know if anyone around here has Taiko... mainly the drum, I can get the games later.

And if someone has Donkey Conga and wants to sell it cheap, I'll buy it-but it has to be for cheap, otherwise I don't want it.  Tongue

Protip: Go to Fred Meyer, I think they have the US Taiko controller.

Other than that, I'm not sure.

Hmm, I'll check a Freddies on my way back from work tomorrow.

You should get DK Jungle Beat if you don't have it already.

K-Mart was having a Xmas sale selling DK Jungle Beat and bongos for $5 in Dec 2006 (not so useful info now).  Gamespot has a few bongos for $5 I know...they likely have a copy of Konga around as well.

I tried a gamespot near my place today, and they didn't have any.

Spokane has loads of those drums.  I'd sell you my Taiko drum, but it doesn't work too well.

hah, I'd like a working one, but thanks. :-P

I couldn't find any bongo drums or taiko sets at two Fred Meyers today... so I'm still on the hunt.

I go to Spokane once, twice a month.  I could pick you up a set if this claim is true, Jon.

Just to be clear, I'm referring to the bongos only.  I totally didn't realize what I wrote.  I did see a Taiko drum at a random Gamecrazy or Gamestop, but that was a few months ago.

ATTN BLUESS:

The Gamestop in Bellevue Square has a set of DK Bongos for $4. Get 'em while they're hot!

SUCCESS! :-D

Thanks, Kevin. I was able to get the bongos and Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat. Amazingly simple yet really fun. I was surprised.

Now to get Donkey Konga and Taiko (probably the later off the internet).

If you are willing to pay $5 or so more, you can probably get them from Pink Godzilla in Seattle. They likely have the Taiko controller, as well.

Ah, good call. I haven't checked there.

Nope, no Taiko at Pink Godzilla - I checked.  (I need it too.)  Also none at the Bellevue Fred Meyer, or GameStops.

Also, BUMP!

Stay tuned for more exciting updates.  Cool

Yeah, forgot to post I didn't see it there. I think eBay's going to be my best bet now.

Sad

Anyone - anyone at all - who has any leads on this locally, please do let me know.  I've considered getting it through eBay, but (1) shipping would be silly, and (2) I hate supporting PayPal.

BTW, off-topic: I went to Pink Godzilla last week with my new boyfriend.  It was awesome - completely incomparable to anything in the Midwest. Smiley

Unfortunately, they have nothing I don't already have by way of music games. Sad

ROTFL!  I left myself wide open for that one...

Pink Godzilla.  Though my boyfriend has made a remarkable effort to get into Pop'n Music, which stands to put him in that category. Cheesy
