February 04, 2007, 10:43:30 AM - ORIGINAL POST -

Rules are here:

http://70.85.192.194/~loogsla/twg.shtml

We're going to be using a two wolf, one seer format.

24 hours to vote, 24 hours for a kill.

Post here if you're game. If we have enough people by the end of the night, I can send out roles and this this shebang started.

-Jon

Now that you're facing a lynching, you have problems with caffeine and defensiveness? this is news to us all.

Well, how come you went after me and not Pants then?  His comment was similar to mine... There must have been some reason you picked me...

The caffeine's been a problem for quite a while.  No way I drank all ~500 of these cans in the last day.

You really hit the weak spot for massive damage on that one, pantsu.

Wes not voting.
You will have phantom votes against you for this round, and if you fail to vote again, will be removed from the game..

Remove me, I'm swamped with stuff.
Plus, I never completely understood this anyway, so I shouldn't have agreed to do this in the first place.

Much to the group's surprise, Tyrgannus walked out of the building, never to return. A note left on his desk said:

I can't tkae the stress of this job anymore. I'm sick of editng text fro RPGs.

WOLVES AND SEER, YOU HAVE 24 HOURS TO DO WHAT YOU DO BEST.

Have we lynched anyone yet?

I think Wes was auto-lynched for quitting, negating the vote (hence Jon asking the wolves to kill people again).  But I may be wrong.

Queue Tada claiming "auto-lynch is like auto-scratch and IIDX games are for PS2" as a reason to vote for me.    Cheesy

That was a boring lynching.
He didn't even jump out a window or anything. :?

EDIT: If Tada IS a wolf, I'm as good as dead. Sad

Actually, that said, if Tada isn't a werewolf, then we might find some of the people with strong arguments against him dead in an attempt to make him look like a werewolf.
So it could go either way; it's pretty inconclusive.

BlueSS and anscik come in the next morning to find pants cut to death with six axes laying next to him. Everyone now feels a sense of fear in the department.

VOTING ENDS AT 6:46P SATURDAY. DANCINGTOFU HAS ONE PHANTOM AGAINST VOTE AGAINST HIM THIS ROUND, AS A PLAYER QUIT.

Six axes?  Is Pants secretly the Hindu god Brahman, and was he trying to defend himself?
Are the axes laid out willy-nilly, or in an organised fashion?
Can we do some DNA tests on the blood on the axes (if any)?
No, I'm not serious, on any of those counts.

Let's see. . . based on the fact that I'm not dead yet, the Sony Employees must think either think I'm less of a threat than pants, or they're playing with my head.

Which leaves everyone open for me, Tada and Lhet both slightly more suspicious than everyone else.
I'll wait to see what other people think.

I'm actually really surprised it wasn't one of us. This is probably a good decision, because if I was killed, everybody would look at Tada, and vice versa.

I'm now thinking Tada or Cynic, but I'm going to wait a bit before any decisions.

Also, it could be somebody kinda hiding in the backgroud (Tony or Laura or blueSS)

Yeah that makes sense; bandwagoning against someone because they did the same. Anyways, I'm still voting for Lhet. No real good reason other than the hypocracy and quick votes, just a gut feeling... They turned out to be right most of the time at Denny's, so I have to trust it. lol

DancingTofu, I haven't been hiding and I clearly made my reasoning for my vote clear and the beginning then stuck with it. There wasn't anything else to add.
Tada was my first and original thought because he was posting a ton, irrationally and trying hard NOT to look suspicious. Then cynic comes and follows up the same vote Tada does.

Tony wanted to get rid of Tada for the very same reasons I did, and I think Alpha has posted with enough ignorance to show that he doesn't know what's going on (aka not a wolf). Cynic came with his lame reasoning, and his follow up vote to Tada. Cynic has played this a lot more than Tada has, and Cynic definitely is the more suspicious of the two.

Pants was taken out to get suspicion off the people who voted with him (because why would you get rid of who voted with you if you were a wolf? You don't). Cynic, Alpha and Tada voted together. And once again, I don't think Alpha is suspicious, could be wrong though, but I hope not.

Cynic

Edit: NM, being sick makes you read posts wrong.
Also, Tony and Laura don't seem suspicious at all, although neither has posted much.

Actually, now that you mention it, I suppose you're right.

So I'm stuck between Tony, and Jerrad
I'll make a final decision later.

...and none of you are seeing this? Holy shit, you guys suck at this game. My vote stands. :/

What changing his mind because his first reason for the vote (not being too active as it was in Tony's case) wasn't as convincing to him as mine was? Sounds like he just wants a wolf out to me.

I actually have my own suspicions here... and I'm casting a vote for BlueSS, and my reasoning is as follows:

Remember those posts by James that were deleted because they could "influence the outcome of the game?" And that BlueSS deleted them, even though Bressler is running this game and BlueSS is only here as a participant? This seems too incredibly shifty to me. Why not let the person who is running this game deal with logistics, eh?

Even then, I doubt he would use admin powers to "cheat" and/or sway votes. I'm sure it was just off topic discussion or something.

If you guys really wanted to think about it, I could go in the sql database and look at all the pms Jon sent out and know who's who. haha, I'm not that much of an asshole though, and I'm sure Jonathan isn't either.

Here's a summary of what James posted (Which can be verified 100% by both Alpha and Tada)

"I've played werewolf tons of times before and never lost. By the looks of this game the [James omitted] are going to have an easy time because there are a lot of new players in this game."

Chris and Tada then both proceeded to post how it could have an influence in the game, because not only is it easy to infer from language that the newbies wouldn't all fit into the wolves category, in a game with all newbies the wolves clearly have an advantage. The less skill the humans have, even if the wolves are new too they still have a slight advantage. James' post was basically saying that it looked like there were skilled wolves with easy pickings.

Jon had not logged in that day yet and would not for several hours. I deleted the 5 posts (maybe 6?) between the three and put the warning up not to talk about the game because no matter who the wolves are (be it me or not) if James was right and people believed it, it would change the game plain and simple. Now it gets to come back out so there isn't any mystery that I'm covering evidence because not only would that be scummy to do but it would also cheating and you guys wouldn't want me to play again.
