I just got back from Taco Time which is about as close to Del Taco as I can get around here in terms of Tacos (but I have their Crispy Burritos ftw). I love Del Taco's Monster Combo Burrito's though. It is because of those that I firmly believe Lettuce belongs in a burrito along with sour cream. Yum. Isn't there still a DelTaco in Vancouver, WA?
Carl's Jr. just opened a location in Covington along with Tacoma. That's pretty sweet. You really can't beat a Superstar in terms of value for the buck.
But boy, oh boy what I wouldn't give for some In 'N Out up here. The last two times I've visited my family in California, before I stop anywhere else, I go directly from the airport to In 'N Out for an Animal Style Double Double.
What's your favorite? I hear Sonic mentioned a lot up here for some reason on TV, but I don't even know where the nearest one is.

I have to agree with you on the In n' Out thing. Thing is, In N' Out is a privately-owned company but the last surviving owner (the wife I believe of the founder) is getting up there and is debating making the company public. What that could mean is we might be seeing more chains nationwide (including here) but the quality may suffer as wages are lowered (In N' out has like $10/hour wages or something I believe) and &tc other changes are practiced (ie to ingredients). But that is a pessimistic scenario, of course.
I've been eating at the Carl's Jr. in Tacoma since they opened, every Friday when I trek to Narrows. And now that the one in Covington has opened (like 10 minutes from me here in Kent) I am quite exuberant. I couldn't believe when I first came up to WA in 2001 that there were no Carl's Jr.s.
As for mexican fast food, do they have El Pollo Loco up here? That's my favorite one when I'm down in Cali. I can't even be bothered with most of the Mexican food up here, though I don't mind the TexMex at Chevy's. But then, that isn't fast food, heh. I've never eaten at Taco Time or Del Taco.

They're building a Popeye's in Puyallup. Holy Lord that will be delicious.

Yeah, I know they're privately owned. They also, unfortuantely, push their religion on everyone. But they pay their employees well, their food rocks and that's good enough for me :)
I hear you on the food thing. I moved here in 2000 and I was shocked at my food situation! One of the Portlanders brought me a superstar one time when they came up for a party because they knew I was deprived ;_;
I haven't seen an El Pollo Loco up here, but then again I haven't been looking for it. My spidey sense tells me I think there's one up north, but I'm not sure.
Taco Time is great. It's a little more expensive than I would like comparatively (I can usually get out of TacoBell for less than $5, but never out of Taco Time for less than $7) but tasty! :D

Never had it. I always went to KFC because I knew their menu :O

Haha, you haven't lived then until you've had some. I think the fries and biscuits are much more tasty there, and the Chicken is nice too (they have got some spicy stuff there).

I think its kind of funny how when we have nothing to talk about, we just resort to talking about the foods we eat.
Next time I'm in Tacoma, I'll have to check out Carl's Jr. I remember once in the B&I, some Asian family opened a ripoff In & Out. It didn't take too long for them to change the name. The burgers were pretty much just like the ones in California, but it wasn't "official".

OOoo, I like spicy things. KFC is seriously lacking in that regard. However, I do love me some KFC biscuits. :D

Shit, sign me up. Knock off or not, I don't care! I always thought Seattle had a weird food dichotomy to me. On the one hand you have very specific fish and such that we enjoy, but none of the things I'm familiar with on a day-to-day basis. This forced me to eat a lot more "Seattle" type foods instead of the normal fast food I've been so accustomed to previously.

The 'Chinatown' section in Seattle has a weird assortment of foods and resteraunts, someone here must've eaten there before.

I don't eat FF much for health reasons. But, I love Taco Time... crisp burritos are love. Taco Bell's alright. And BURGERVILLLLEEE. Burgerville goes only as North as.. Centralia, I think. There's a bunch in Oregon. BV's loved for their seasonal milkshakes.

I've had Popeyes a couple times, and it has always blown me away. The chicken breast is so delicious, as are the biscuits... and you can still taste the food like 45 minutes after you eat it it's amazing. There are only two in Portland, about ten blocks apart on MLK Blvd (lol).
Taco Bell tastes okay even though it's actually quite disgusting.

YES MEXI FRIES HOW COULD I FORGET.
Too bad Taco Smell got rid of Mexi Nuggets. Go Taco Time for continuing politically incorrect menu items.

The fact that it took halfway through the first page for someone to mention BurgerVille makes me want to punch babies. =(
BurgerVille is made of win and the only FF restaurant that still makes decent veggie burgers.

Holy Crap, sounds like you guys have tons of fast food T_T... As for Chinese food, Richmond = Chinatown. Your not going to get that stuff that you think is Chinese food.. like sweet and sour pork, egg rolls, whatever. That stuffs fake. We're talking organs stuffed with more organs wrapped in sour cabbage in blood soup, this is heavy shit man. We also have an abundance of awesome sushi restaurants with real sushi.. all you can eat quality sashimi and everything else for only 12 bucks (late night after 10pm).. And if you want super nice sushi you can go downtown to vancouver for all you can eat for 25 bucks (it's freaking amazing). If your just looking for a cheap meal though, theres a pretty plain assortment of crappy fast food. But theres tons of little markets and restaurants all over the place with really cheap food. For example, right beside E-spot is a Japanese market called Izumi-ya. They have pre-made lunchboxes and lunch selections of anything you can imagine :O.. I always go there hehe.

I don't know if you could consider it fast food (like panda express), but Chipotle is fucking delicious.... and healthy, too.

Panda Express is awful. I found a fucking metal coil in my kung pao once.
I <3 Popeye's, it's literally the only place I'll eat fried chicken anymore.
Burgerville has great shakes, everything else is pretty mediocre.
Mc. Donald's, Taco Bell, Burger King, and Carl's Jr. are all trash.
Phylicia, remember when we went to Tukwila for that tournament? That was the one time I went to a Jack in the Box ever and I had something I REALLY liked but I can't remember what it was
Do you remember...?
Taco Del Mar is probably the best fast food taco joint. Taco Time is alright.
And that's my 5¢.

Kidd Valley has awesome burgers.
Taco Del Mar is more like Chipotle than a fast food taco place. Taco Time still wins though.
Ray's Drive In makes pretty good shakes.

Ah cmon, it's not like the kaiten sushi places in Japan (which are really good) have any better of names or anything =P
Regardless, I am still skeptical. But that's more because it's an American sushi place more than because of the name.

It's not the best sushi in the world, but it's insanely cheap and it's all on a conveyor belt!
And no, it wasn't curly fries, because I don't like curly fries.
