Des Moines isn't so bad.  Actually you're pretty close to me; you and I can coordinate something in order to get you to ACME or Narrows, I'm certain.

Being a bad renter and getting evicted isn't exactly something I'd mention with a proud and careless tone.

Hey you get to go to Narrows more often since you would live pretty close to it...........I think

Maybe you're just reading in a proud and careless tone?  'cause I don't think you can hear him. . .

I think the "haha" part made him seem "proud and careless" so yeah

EDIT: A member of the forum tried to explain to me on IM what James probably meant with his comment.  I still feel James is being insensitive in this situation, but I will rephrase my comment so as to avoid escalating the situation.

Anyhow, I think Zach's "haha" comment is not meant to show himself as being careless and proud about his situation.  I think he was just trying to lighten the tone of the entire aspect.  Maybe James realizes this and maybe he doesn't; I don't think what he said was very conducive, regardless.

I'm not trying to stir up drama, I just had quite the flash of anger from what James said and I felt I needed to step in for Zach.

Sorry, it's difficult for me to make a transition from angry to humored so quickly.  You'll have to give me another few minutes

EDIT: Anyhow, I'm back to being humored again.

I think I bent my humorous; nobody gets my jokes anymore. (Actually, I think I did bend the bone, a couple years ago, when I feel off a big concrete flower bed at a baseball game.)

well this house is a bit to small for our family and we were planning on moving out sometime soon anyways so it all works out pretty well... just kind of hurried

the payments are usually 2 days late at most so it isnt really that bad...  Our landlord just likes to have his money Right on Time (lol) rather than slightly late.

i dont pay the rent here... i pay my parents and they pay the rent so i am totally not at fault in this situation hahah

My mom's house is too small.  But she put in an application for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and she has about a 33% chance of getting it accepted. =D

If so, I'm going to make history by offering to temporarily join the design team, making me the first family member to reject the super-expensive vacation to design the house.  Then I'll put it on my resumé that I helped designed a house on EM:HE, and ADVANTAGE GET!

zach> we should totally find an apartment or something. my original plans looking for an apartment with these 2 other people went out the window. but right now, there's 2 other guys offering me a room at their house in south everett Sad but if that doesn't work, we should find a place... and have it like a bemani place or something haha (or not :\)

but yeah, that sucks though... my family was in a somewhat same position about a month ago. we were forced to sell our house (either that or get it foreclosed) and now i'm staying with my dad and seriously want to move out as fast as possible

dude... that would be totally sweet mike hahaha!  You would need to have a job though but seriously if you have no other option then i will see what i can do about that.  The apartment would have to be cheap though so probably one bedroom and i will sleep on a mattress or something lol

Income's probably the sketchiest part of starting a company, especially as a minor.  You can't be sure if you'll net enough.  Fortunately, I've designed it so that I can net a bunch without doing anything except answering the occasional email and filing a few orders; I just have to get DTG fully initiated first.  I can pretty much run the company as a hobby, at least until I'm old enough and experienced enough to get corporate.
