Since this site began, a lot of people have changed interests, even locations.

I'm currently a Sophomore in High School. I'm pulling all A's right now, Still in Puyallup, though, haven't been to Acme in 1 year and some change.

How about you guys?

I'm currently a freshman in high school. Slacking off as usual!

Due to my health issues, I can't play DDR anymore. Oh well, I'm still playing far too much other bemani. Some things never change.

Wow, I've changed astronomically. Lets see, graduated high school in '06 and slacked off for a bit, then out of the blue,(I WAS gonna join the air force, so I didn't quite "Cross Into The Blue," haha) I up and joined the Marines. So now I'm in Okinawa Japan. Advanced certified scuba diver, and I've now started playing doubles a few weeks ago. And Saturday night I passed Genom Screams for the first time.

Senior in college with two majors, extremely busy (just finished a 21 credit quarter); preparing for my 2nd interview (tomorrow) with Google for a summer internship; haven't played IIDX in damn near a year.  Living in Kirkland instead of UW dorms.  Playing lots of pop'n and pro, some extreme.

still old. Smiley

almost moved to new orleans, but i got two raises at work and one more pending.

things are super busy, and even though there are parts of my life that seem in absolute turmoil, i'm shrugging and putting on an optimistic face as i always do.

i was hanging out with some old ddr friends who still play ddr somewhat yesterday and we commented on how much the tournament scene has died and how unfortunate it is that there aren't more gatherings in general.  eugene in particular used to be very strong for gatherings, and travel along the whole pnw wasn't uncommon for tournaments.  it'd be nice to bring that stuff back, but eugene doesn't have the same sort of avenue as it once had for that sort of stuff.

that's why everyone should come to DSR Squared. : D

My life's slowed down, if anything.  Since I dissolved DTG in January (with the somewhat violent help of a friend), I've been slowly working on consolidating my designs and concepts so I can make a more successful attemt in the future (I'm aiming for this summer, assuming I can pull a good paying camp counselor in June/July and keep August mostly free).  I haven't had any spending money of note since January either, 'cause I've been working on paying off debts and budgeting for Sakuracon.
It's not set in stone now, but I've basically got a new girlfriend.  She's gamer enough, but mostly plays non-competitive (stuff like Mario Bros. and Metroid), so we'll see how that works out.  For those who missed it, I dissolved my prior relationship (I think I mentioned it a couple of times) in November.
I'm still playing DDR quite a bit, although I've effectively quit home versions altogether.  I lost a lot of motivation to make pads when I got into the arcade scene, just because the arcade versions are so superior, even to StepMania IMO.  I still play BeatMania IIDX now and then, but very infrequently.  I've gotten into MHF2, and now that my mind's on it, I'm gonna go play some Bubble Bobble, which is still the only game I can get competitive scores in. Tongue

btw, zeppy and I killed a 29-meter Plesioth.  Fuckin' Blue Whale.

Junior in college, been changing schools - and therefore towns - every year. So this year I'm at UO in Eugene.

I turned 21 and uhhhh college partying has commenced once again.

I'm working on this studying in Japan thing and will probably leave this summer.

I've sort of picked up IIDX again (but if I play too much I get wrist/hand issues, so not having or making time to dedicate works out anyway), but I'm not dance gaming much right now, though when I am, it's PIU Pro and messing around in DDR. Looking forward to seeing old people at DSR^2.

I'm a freshman in college and while I've been having a great year, I still feel like I lack direction. I play Pump Pro once or twice a month when I come up to Portland and Extreme occaisionally at the Salem Wunderland (this is depressing because I never see any other players there). Tilt's ITG is still fun too when it isn't broken. DSR² should be fun.

I don't know what teams I'm on yet, actually; still shuffling papers around, which means I'm not an employee yet and therefore can't know too much about the inner workings of the company.

I'm heading to Portland with my family in July.  My mom's friend's son is having a wedding.

I don't really play ITG anymore but if I see an open machine; I can't resist.
Any good spots in Portland?

Right now, i'm into import tuning.
