Try some one heavy.
no offense to you at all, but why is it that people love talking about all the AAAs they can get on beginner and basic? I mean, difficult is an accomplishment I guess, but what about Heavy AAAs? Isn't that what made the AAA so legendary in the first place?

I believe every AAA is something to be proud of, regardless of the level of difficulty, because you are left with the feeling on that particular track, you couldn't have done any better (of course, you can look better by advancing your freestyle technique to it, LOL!)

I certainly have no intention of settling for too little and not raising the bar higher and going for further AAA's on Difficult and eventually the Expert and Challenge levels, but I believe every AAA is a major accomplishment, even on the easier levels. Smiley

Sincerely,
Noah Eaton

Joel is right.  I know it's cool when you start getting AAA's, but you should also remember to keep expanding your difficulty as well.  I think at this point you're quite capable of AAA'ing any non-boss song on beginner and light, but I want to start seeing you get some A's and AA's on Heavy [expert] and Oni [challenge].

Have you considered getting SM?  The syncing's kind of wonky on newer versions, but it's a great way to drastically increase and customise your songlist for little or no money.

I actually have A's on almost every Difficult-leveled track, as well as 12 A's to date on the Expert level (I think other version's call that level Heavy)

I certainly am not going to settle for too little, but I do believe every AAA is a true achievement that should be celebrated! Smiley

Sincerely,
Noah Eaton

I should go AAA that 'cause I'm a bastard like that. ;P

Actually, that song's one of the hardest 9's I've ever played.  I'd put it right up there with So Deep and Cartoon Heroes, although I've got a AA on Fantasy Melissa because that song makes me feel really energetic and the steps are great with the music.
Actually, I might have a AA on Cartoon Heroes too. xP

I think you probably mean More Deep, or something.
'cause if your first heavy AAA was a tough 9, there's something funny there.

A couple new achievements.

First, AAA count is now 115, with 68 Beginner, 45 Basic, 2 Difficult (picked up my 2nd Difficult AAA on the five-footer "Since U Been Gone"). So I'm coming close to sweeping the list on the Basic level, and then will focus wholeheartedly on the Standard/Difficult level, then the Heavy/Expert level. Smiley

Also, I've picked up three more A's on Heavy/Expert level tracks: "The Other Side", "Star Gate Heaven" and "Ska Ska No. 3".

Sincerely,
Noah Eaton

Ska Ska No. 3 was a fun song when I played it.

Now for Pump it Up: NX

S (2 Greats) Naissance CZ Sad
FPC Don't Bother Me CZ
FPC Banya Hip-Hop Remix
Crappy Enter the Dragon and U Inside My Dim Mind CZ scores
Failed IGYAML CZ last freezes (bar)

Better stuff:

S (4 Greats) Emergency CZ (first try EVER)
5 Misses Mr. Larpus Crazy (12 Greats + a Good). Not too bad.

I'm slowly almost getting the hang of this game. My problem is figuring out how to step (I have an embarassing Mr. Larpus CZ vid of that run if anyone requests it).

I got my first AAA today. . . however, it was just 5.1.1 light on DDRMax CS.  And in all honesty it was on a controller, not a pad because I decided my soft pad just isn't worth playing on right now.

^^ lol!
Don't you have a couple hard pads? YOu should try for something easy like...
hm... Kind lady was my first (max2 CS) theres some toher good 6s and 7s. songs that are mostly 18th notes and not too much chaos are easiest to SGD and AAA.
