Andy, what theme is that?

Thanks NSX! Should be a fun tournament! I'm not expecting to do as well because these are all done and on an upgrade cab that has super flush/perfect pads.
My understanding is the dedicab's pads are much more recessed.

Crab Hat, Those photo's are from the Fort Rapid 6 theme. It's called Altitude, made by the same guy who did Chromatic.(Devon)

Pretty much all themes are there.

I really love how the BG image looks on the result screen
I'm about to go play. I'll post some stuff later tonight.

Themes\DDR_X2_ver2.1.zip

 Roll Eyes

Also, if I'm not running my modded version of the ITG3 theme, I usually go with ITG Retro.

Have you tried Jayce's new theme GrooveNights? It has some really cool features and uses Retro as the frame work.

Fiesta 2 scoredump:

Nobody D17 - A w/ 25 misses; finally!

FFF S17 - A w/ 39 misses; that chart tires me.

Passacaglia D22 - D w/ 139 misses; hey, it's a pass. :/

Destination S19, Phantom -Intermezzo- S19, & Napalm S19 in rapid succession - all A's w/ 27, 20, and 4 respectively; how's that for a set!

Final Audition Episode 2-X D21 - B w/ 66 misses; I expected worse for a 21.

SS'd Shock S14 Cheesy

Wanna D17 - A w/ 13 misses and without stage breaking; w00t!

Andy, is your machine an upgrade cab or dedicab? Is it running the original hardware or a new PC? I'm just curious, because these things can make a HUGE factor in how well I do with my scoring.

Also you should make sure you use the original syncing for the songs if you intend to do well come tournament-time! I dunno if you use resynced versions of the packs like some. And yes, a lot of other machine/metric factors can affect scores like these, though they are some impressive quads there regardless Smiley

Yeah, definitely impressive. I just want to make sure you have the correct settings for your machine so that you can be accustomed to the ACME ITG machine's settings (which I presume follow the standards described on AIJ).

hey guys, it's an upgrade ITG2 upgrade cab running original hardware. It's a boxor so everything is official and it's JWA=0

Getting the timing on this machine took months for me to get accustomed to and I'm finally feeling consistent.

Is the dedicab JWA=0.0015? Shouldn't that make it easier to score on?

Also Gerrak, I'm using the old original sync. We actually tried to replace them but couldn't figure out how to get the old ones off.

Psalm pilot is SUPER drifty around 45-55 percent and I kept getting random excellents, and Da Roots was REALLY hard to time.

Honestly I whored these songs, and have played them all so many times so it was only a matter a time.
I'm just happy with my consistency.

Acme is running JWA=0.000.  JWA=0.0015 is correct for a stock dedicab computer (which has a polling rate of 80-100 Hz running r16 or higher and needs the padding to compensate for rounding errors), but the new computer gets around 500 Hz (about 3x what an upgrade cab gets, though diminishing returns probably mean there's no noticeable advantage after the 200 Hz mark), so there's no reason to continue to pad the judgment window unless you want everyone to start quadding everything (having played on a machine with an updated OS that gets the higher polling rates and still has JWA=0.0015, I can tell the difference - I get about half the excellent count on 11's consistently).

It explains everything in that link I posted. In summary: dedicab polling sucks so bad that the JWA modification makes it run like an upgradicab/custom PC build.

Edit: And Tony already clarified it for the most part above.

Mine is an r1 dedicab that is hacked, but it's still running original hardware and OS, so it's set to .0015.

Tom's machine is one of the last dedicabs produced, but he has his running a new OS (Windows, maybe? I can't remember) and his is set to 0. However, timing seems easier on his machine than mine. It could be a lot of factors (age of the machines, etc), but from my experience, even with a .0015 window addition, a dedicab running original hardware is still one of the hardest machines to PA/FA on.

Fiesta 2:

Love is a Danger Zone (Cranky Remix) S20 - A w/ 29; I think I can pass w/o stage-breaking.

Vacuum S21 - A w/ 66; yesssss!

Nobody D17 - A w/ 9; I used 1.5x and AC thanks to this guy.
[Fiesta 2] Nobody S15 AC - A

AC makes the freeze triples, in my case, a lot easier to read.

Lucid D20 - A w/ 23; first time I got 50+ because of the triple freeze at the end, so I did it again.

Ignis Fatuus (I totally love this song) D19 - A w/ 5; "WHAT?!" was my reaction. XD

Like a Man [Full] S19 - A w/ 6 or so; a lot tougher than the regular cut S18.

Destination D20 - A w/ 45; ugh tiring.

Crazy D19 - A w/ 48 and nothing else; I haven't played that in forever because well...the chart is...mmm...just watch.
Crazy D19

Gargoyle D23 - B w/ 106 misses; I got tired nearing the end. (For those of you unaware of this chart, it's one big run from start to finish.)
fyi the d20 is the same chart except for the slowdown. there's just regular long notes there. good practice for the d23 and super fun anyway.

fun fact my friend made the d20 and i beat him on it once ^_^

Really now? I'll have to play that the next time I go. Thanks for that. Wink

It's that time again! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Fiesta 2

No. 3 D16 - Gold S w/ 17 greats; this and S16 are super-fun!

Napalm D23 - C w/ 105; ewww 32nds XD

Pumptris Quattro D20 - A w/ 47; I think this was my 2nd or 3rd try on this chart EVER! The very first try was a couple years back at the Waterfront Arcade. If I remember correctly, I got a horrid C.
