I was in Las Vegas for part of last week, and they did have one at Gemini Arcade Palace.  "X3 plus 2nd Mix" or whatever the full name is.  So there are at least a *few* here in the states.

X3 "vs." 2ndMIX

And there are three machines in the US, but only two are available to the public. The other one is in California.

Actually, the next DDR AC has just been revealed a few days ago. Maybe we'll have better luck with that.

Hey guys! It's been awhile. Got some videos. Nothing mind blowing, but I'm doing my best to catch back up to where I was.

Keby we gotta play together soon man, I'm guessing I could up a lot of these scores on a Dedicab vs. our upgrade cab.

Pretty damn beast. Good job man.

Also I love pandemonium. No matter how many 15's I play that song still wrecks my shit.

I don't have a picture of this, so there's no proof other than a witness.  But I got my first legitimate AAA on a Heavy difficulty song today.  Not the silly kind I was making fun of several posts back, but an honest to goodness "all Perfects".  It was on "Love^2 Sugar" on a DDR Extreme machine.  7 difficulty.

Yeah, it's only a 7, but it's the first time I've gotten a real AAA that wasn't on Have You Never Been Mellow basic.  Smiley

Hey! Congrats on your first AAA! That's a big deal! And what's more, it wasn't one of the "most common first AAA songs".

Nice going.

My first AAA wasn't really common either . . .

Your Rain (RAGE MIX) Expert/Double AAA/PFC - DDR SuperNOVA (AC, US)

What's probably much more rarer is getting your first AAA on doubles.

It's been a while since I posted anything here, but I've been playing doubles lately and I'm making some good progress at it.

This was the first time I passed Tiki Tike Kardi on Expert doubles. I have since improved on this performance since this video was taken. I'm sure no one cares, but I also did it no-bar, which IMO is how doubles should be played (way more fun). =D

Can't tell from the video what the difficulty of the song is.  9 or 10, maybe?  (It looks a little harder than the 7-8 that I'm usually comfortable with on no-bar doubles, so I'm guessing.)

It's a low-end 10. It would only be a 9 from the speed alone, but the cross pas footwork gets harry in a few sections. I like the chart

Got my very 1st real AAA on Air no bar, NO PIC, NO WITNESS. I was all by myself in the arcade. Eventually I whored it 4 more times after I had a camera ready to try and re-AAA it. No re-AAA, but on the 4th try I flagged it =P

PIX OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!

Nah...seriously, awesome job! AAA's are a huge achievement and a no bar AAA is even more awesome!

I also played Superfantastico a few weeks back and did pretty awesome on it. Unfortunately, I cliped the video a bit short so it skips the intro of the song. It still shows the intense parts and how bad I was flailing to keep up.

Suko - Superfantastico [Doubles]

And yeah, sorry about the bright screen. The camera I'm using works great at capturing all the action (fish eye lens FTW) but I can't get it to adjust to get the screen to show up better.

Just burning through the no bar double 10's! Some of those stretchier sections seemed somewhat trivial with your height, I actually have to move my center of gravity a lot during parts of the chart. We should do a doubles tournament one day, it's going away my favorite mode and it's really good to see someone else doing it.

Have you gotten a double 11 yet? If not I would highly suggest Destination Rapture Hard as a first one. It's more like a hard 10 honestly.

I think I beat 1 double 11 in the past few weeks, but I can't recall which one off the top of my head. It was a pretty hectic pass and very ungraceful. I got a few of those who I play with to start getting (back) into doubles recently. Over the last 2 months we all have been almost exclusively playing doubles. It's great and really making me re experience that feeling I had when learning DDR back in 2003.
