you play on an ASC, if I remember, right?

Yeah, I sometimes wonder how much better I would do with a modded KOC...

To be honest, it doesn't make much of a difference.  KOC and ASC both require different playstyles, and really, neither is easier than the other.  I say this because I'm no better at home than I am on ACME's machine, when controlling for display and timing -- I can hit the same patterns and combo about the same at both locations, even on scratch heavy patterns.  I just have different ways of doing them.

I will tell you this, an ASC is significantly different from both the arcade and the KOC. The buttons are -very- stiff and the turntable is as far away as in the arcade. This, to me, means it is ultimately more difficult to play at home than it is at the arcade. For example, it is almost impossible for me to alternate the 6 and 7 keys with two fingers other than my index/thumb and middle fingers. It alters play style significantly.

That isn't to say it's my fault that I'm not better, but saying passing something at home on a KOC and passing something at home on a ASC are nearly two seperate accomplishments.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about the stiff buttons, that's a really big handicap when you try to do a lot of keys.

Where is the turntable on an ASC?  That's what makes the TT distance not hard for me on an arcade machine.  It's really far forward and makes using your thumbs really easy compared to on a KOC.

Is Spin the Disc an easy 5 like Mobo Moga and Attitude?

If so, I'll need to play it.  I'm just getting into 5's.

I'd say it's not much harder than the 2.  Just some tricky turntable patterns.  Took me a few redos to pass it.

I can pass Bad Boy Bass. . . but I keep getting 74%. . . Still have 5 5s to pass.

1333 traces [a]
1334 daisuke [a]
both overdue, really

hard clear satellite [a] random (i think first time ever trying random)
1 combo break setsugekka 7k
Actually those are kinda overdue too

got to the 8th scratch + 16th run on No.13 [a] random hard.  can't get past symmetry non random
got to the last set of scratches on setsugekka [a] hard
got about 2/3 way through the "long hard scratchy section" on one or eight [a] random hard
i'm sort of getting the hang of comboing (satellite was first try, oddly enough)

i think everything was on random but i noted it on songs that i usually don't random.

I think I finally passed Bad Boy Bass a couple weeks ago.  I know I can pass it on Challenge mode, because I just drop about 25%-30% at the very end whenever I play it.  I did finish it on challenge mode with 82% once though, so I guess that means I could hypothetically pass it regular.

Just so you know, Outer Limits [h] is NOT a five. Tongue

I can at least fail most 5's with more than 50% hits and better than a 26 combo.

they call it a five. I don't think it is either, but mebe hyper 5's are harder than normal 5s.

i love putting my posts in quotes, even when they haven't previously been said. fun fun!!

Hey, Moon_Child is probably the hardest 5 on 12th style, and it's a normal five.

Of course, the other hardest one would probably be airflow [h], but that's beside the point.
