Enabled ability for users to change their display name on their own. Username doesn't change, just what is displayed.
If this gets abused, it'll be disabled again.

3/6 - Updated most of the site's icons since they weren't updated with the new theme change.

(Your browser cache still might use the old ones. If you use FF, SHIFT+F5 to reload)

Fixed an annoying auto-refresh error on the Registration page that prevented users from registering. Sorry about that for anyone who tried registering.

4/24 - Fixed bug with users not receiving email after registering, so they couldn't confirm their account. Accounts registered before during this time have been activated manually.

5/25 - Updated TinyPortal. Broke the theme in several areas as a result. Please pardon the mess until I can fix it.

10/23 - Enabled the Avatar gallery. There are some IIDX avatars there to choose from. If anyone has DDR or other bemani avatars, send them my way and I'll add them in!

Thanks, NSX. Smiley

11/27 - Added Arcade Location Map (See top menu) and migrated the last of the wiki articles to the new article system.

12/4 - Started the process of making links to the arcade details from each forum thread, and links from the details back to the forum threads. Look for the buttons now in the first post of the popular WA arcades. This will soon be on ALL the arcades.

- Also added these buttons to the Arcade Map, for easy access to arcade details from the map. Check out the map and go to Acme, Narrows, or Gameworks. Smiley

- Added category icons for the Articles section.

- Added an upload gallery for Article attachments. It's via the "Pics" section, but only those who can edit Articles will see the gallery.

12/15 - Cleaned up CSS, particularly for users who are still using IE.
There were some horrible changes that IE was rendering while Chrome/FF weren't, so I didn't check IE. It turns out 19% of this site's visitors use IE.

12/18 - After 2 years, members are finally able to edit every arcade's details via the new Articles System.
Arcade details are no longer in the first posts of the thread, where other people couldn't edit them.

If you have visited an arcade, go to it's Details page and make sure it's correct! Cheesy

2/14 - Fixed incorrect permission settings on the Photo Gallery (The "Pics" option from the top menu).

Nobody that is logged in should see any "access denied" messages. If you do, let me know! Smiley

2/18 - Added HTTPS support for most of the site. Some elements are not coded to work properly; but you should be able to login via and view the rest normally.

NOTE: The certificate is a shared certificate offered by my host, Webfaction. It WILL give you a warning the first time saying the cert is not matching my domain. That's ok; it won't match, and if you want HTTPS you should accept/ignore the warning. This just is telling you the security is coming from my web host, and not specifically from my site.

2/27/2011 - Fixed maximum image width for embedded images. Now there is a maximum of 600px width for images, so future posts with images (like the accomplishment thread posts) will not break the width of the page!  Cheesy

Nice! That will help with clarity in that thread.

3/4 - Changed some Cosmetics

1) The first post of each thread (that always stays at the top) now has a yellow border around it, separating it from the normal replies.
2) First posts do not have user signatures attached anymore.
3) The "unread post" icon is moved to the right side of the post, and the text "New" is added when you're seeing a post for the first time. This is the grey / orange square to the left of the post # in the top right corner.
4) Added text "- Original Post -" to the first post of the thread.

1) Added total number of votes for an arcade.
2) Changed it so an arcade's score will only show if there has been a total of 3 or more ratings by people.

3) Added "Rich Snippets" code (although Google chooses whether it cares to use it or not... and in our case probably not.)  Angry

3/29 - Added a left column block of some of the music games we play in the community. This will be helpful for visitors to find our about the games we play.

Unfortunately we don't have much content to link to for some of them, nor a "Game Article" that could describe the game. It'd be great if someone wanted to make an article for a game. Wink
