How many points is a $30 card? And wow, I wake up from a nap, the first thing I do is check the forums, and I see plenty of good news. Thank you Power Play.

Hey everyone, sorry it's been so long.

Wanted to let you all know we just installed the r14 patch in the Pump It Up Pro 2 at Power Play in Bellevue.  Looking for some quality players to come in and run the machine through it's paces.  I am not a quality player...I look more like an idiot doing a hillbilly stomp.  Drop us a line and give us some feed back.  We also installed 4 new sensors and the machine is operating at 100%.

Also to let you know, we are running a game card special right now.  2 $30 value cards for $35 and no activation fee.

Upcoming events to keep an eye out for:
October 23rd: 18 and up after 9pm: DJ and specials in the arcade all night long.
October 24th though the 30th: All VIDEO GAMES will be .02 cents to play all week long for the Power Play 2 Year Birthday party. That is 2 cents for 3 songs on PUI2 and Guitar Hero Arcade!

We have also started to post promotions , contests and giveaways on the Power Play Bellevue Facebook page.  Check it out and LIKE the page to be included.

I'll Pump with u guys, but I'll pass on the wings...

Also: I totally found a game card with approx. $30 worth of credits during my visit. Apparently someone forgot it in one of the kiosks, and I uh...well...u know took the opportunity... Grin

No promises, but I might be up for some shenanigans.

A few of us talked about meeting up to try the super hot-wing challenge at the Wing Dome at some point.
website link

I'll definitely be available this upcoming Saturday on May the 28th, for some PIU:pro2 practice around 6:30pm followed by heading over to Kirkland to try out these legendary wings.
Sent out a Facebook event invite, but I know I don't have the whole community friended   Roll Eyes

So anyone else interested in joining Tuan and I for some dancing games and meeting us in Kirkland to either give morale support or join us our in "brave" attempt at winning a T-shirt, please stop by!

May be headin' over here for a bit of some casual play around 7:30 with a friend that's never tried Pump before.

Since it's Friday, they'll have the dress code enforced; therefore I'd be avoiding 10+ footers regardless  Lips sealed

Random note.

We are a quite a few patches down. I was wondering if we could get the machine updated to r14. It fixes a lot of sync and bug issues as well as adds a few new charts and songs that our machine is missing.

The power play machine is like....r8 maybe? Just wondering if this can get done anytime soon. The directions for updating the machine are on the website here.

Thanks for letting me know.  I will follow up with the marketing department and see where the communication about that got missed.  Would you mind sending me an email with the details: when you where in, if you recall who was helping you, guy or girl...I wiil follow up and get you taken care of.

So Fridays seem to be a bad day for PIU. LOUD MUSIC due to lots of people at the bar who like getting drunk and being in close proximity to each other. :\

So PIU:Pro 2 was barely audible. At least everyone stayed over at Lucky Strike's bar though.

Also, Jim, none of the staff knew what to do with the $10 Lucky Strike/Power Play birthday credit that gets emailed out from Power Play on the month of your birthday.

@Suko: Yeah, Keby had the same problem. I wish I'd have known you were in the area; you could have at least hung out here until traffic died down!
Damn, I should've done that. Oh well, I forgot about that option tho. =D

I would so look cuter than her if I could find a pair of UGGs that would fit me.

Re: [Arcade] Power Play Arcade - Bellevue, Washington (Pump it Up: Pro 2)

I was there last night for a while with Ancsik and Dr Z.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!? F*CK THAT NOISE! I drove all the way down there at 4pm, only to see that they had a private event scheduled. I asked the guy if it was going to be an all-night thing, and he said yes. That little prick. 'Cause of him I spent nearly two hours in traffic for absolutely NOTHING.

Re: [Arcade] Power Play Arcade - Bellevue, Washington (Pump it Up: Pro 2)

I was there last night for a while with Ancsik and Dr Z.

PIU is in the front, and there is NO LIGHTING near the machine, so all of the LEDs are blindingly bright in the dark corner. It got annoying after a short while.

Most of the doubles charts on PIU:Pro 2 are just as "good" as ITG 2 double charts. (For any double charts 8 and below)

And if you ever wanted to play any of the racing games, Sega Outrun 2 is by far the best of the racing games at Power Play.

PS: If anyone can beat my .1 score for reflex time on the punching game, I'll buy you a couple of PIU:Pro 2 sets. Tongue

Re: [Arcade] Power Play Arcade - Bellevue, Washington (Pump it Up: Pro 2)

I went here today and totally didn't realize that PRO 2 was at the front of the arcade instead of the back. Tongue In my opinion, that's a better spot to put it since it's well lit and more people can see where it is or whose playing. Also, the flashing lights weren't as blinding and didn't hurt my eyes as much as they did before in the back, where it's dimmer.

New location for the machine should also keep it cooler to play.
Agreed.
Good job Power Play staff Grin

Oh, and pads were good, volume okay, etc. etc.

All in all, good day for Pump Cheesy

Indeed, the volume was sounding a lot better following that adjustment. Thanks.

Re: [Arcade] Power Play Arcade - Bellevue, Washington (Pump it Up: Pro 2)

Did you ask anyone to adjust the volume to your particular level during your visit?  I have technicians in the room at all times.  If you don't ask...we can't help.

Come up and introduce yourself next time you are in.  We will ALWAYS try to please to players during their visit within reason.

Thank you for the feedback!

p.s. tonight we adjusted the volume up again and repaired a loose sensor for the group that was in tonight.

Re: [Arcade] Power Play Arcade - Bellevue, Washington (Pump it Up: Pro 2)

I hate to harp on the volume issue again, but the machine was still pretty quiet when I was there on Sunday. While it was tolerable when there was no activity happening around the machine, as soon as Outrun 2 started blaring (or worse, the tag team combo of Outrun + noisy kids) I was only able to hear the bass kicks.

Re: [Arcade] Power Play Arcade - Bellevue, Washington (Pump it Up: Pro 2)

We apologize about the volume.  We had a group that bought out the arcade for a night and requested all the game volumes be turned down so they could "network".  My tech must not have turned the volume back up.

New location for the machine should also keep it cooler to play.
