Re: [Arcade] Power Play Arcade - Bellevue, Washington (Pump it Up: Pro 2)

Actually they are missing one song that I know off.

It's called Dawg's in Da House, you know Wink  that one with the funny routine chart.
Anyways it's not an unlock, but you can turn specific songs on or off in the operators menu. It'd be really really nice if they could go check and "unhide" this song from the list. It's got a great crazy and nightmare chart.
I know it's in the game. so if they tell you it's not, they either are unaware or don't want the song being played.

Re: [Arcade] Power Play Arcade - Bellevue, Washington (Pump it Up: Pro 2)

A-yo guys.

Pump Pro 2 is now fully unlocked. The last two songs are Swing the House and Crowdpleaser (my new favorite song Cheesy Cheesy).

There's also a new progressive called Acronym available as well.

Enjoy!

Also, thanks, David, for making the pads feel brand new again! Grin

Hey guys,

Just wanted to clear some things up about the whole dress code thing cause I know some of you bring clothes to change into some nights after 9. We only enforce dresscode on Fridays and Saturdays after 9pm. Any other day of the week you can wear basketball shorts and tshirts or whatever you want. Just wanted to make sure you all knew about that so you didn't have to carry your extra clothes every time you came in.

Thanks for your continued visits,
David

Hey David! I think, right after you left us earlier this evening, that the up-left arrow on the 2p side began to stick while my buddy was playing.

Also, one of the screws is loose on the 1p side. I'm pretty sure it's below the center panel somewhere on the metallic part.

Also-also, thanks for taking the time to clean up the pads. Grin

David,

On behalf of our community, thank you. It's proactive arcade operators and techs like you that continue to give us a safe, fun, and enjoyable place to congregate and play.

Arcades may have gone away, but their culture is not gone.

Cool, thanks David, for your continued work. It's been a pretty reliable machine, with the only recent problem being the center panel sticking on the right side. A good cleaning probably took care of that :]

Hey all,

My name is David, I'm the Head Game Technician and Technician Supervisor at Power Play in Bellevue. I'm sure I've interacted with a few of you throughout the two years we've been open. I just wanted to let you all know that after a few requests I have completely disassembled and cleaned out the dance pad for our Pump It Up: Pro 2 game. If any of you ever have any problems with the game feel free to shoot me an email and I'll take care of whatever it may be.

Thanks for supporting us!

I guess I'll have to be creative.

Ben, your charts are nothing if not creative.  I think you will not have any problems! Grin

And actually... man, where are all the Ben edits to the Eurodance songs you hate?  I would love to fail a 17 to Wham Bam Boogie!

I would so look cuter than her if I could find a pair of UGGs that would fit me.

Boulafacet CZ's ending run gets ALL OF MY HATE. I just failed because of the ending holds.  Angry  Also Haven NM is an 11 but it sucks anyway.

Welp, time to start chart chart charting again.  My 4-panel Haven chart doesn't really translate to 5-panel (rolls in pro 2 are weird), so I guess I'll have to be creative.

Boulafacet is a pain in the ass. Three attempts and three fails (all within the same vicinity). I have never raged so hard at this game. XD

Haven CZ is a 7. :/ (Yes, it's by SGX, Ben.)

"Haven"

Haven?  Like, Haven by SGX?  The Haven I stepped for SPERGIN?

EDIT: Confirmation by someone else that it IS by SGX.  I guess I'm going to power play tomorrow to play it TEN TIMES.  Seriously it's my favorite SGX song in ever. What are the charts like? Are they awesome or do I need to start making edits?  Also is it the same cut from SPERGIN?

M477 unlocked a few new songs on the machine: "Haven", "Shine", We So Loud (or something), & some chart by the artist Nightmare.
There are still a few slots left that are locked though..

The middle panel on the Player2 side keeps getting stuck. We told the staff about it, so hopefully it will be fixed.

Gonna be at Power Play tomorrow with M477 @ around 5:30. If anyone's in the area, you should stop by for some arrow-smashing fun. Smiley

I'll probably be there tonight around 6 or 7.  And honestly, I'll probably be around many nights this week.

Also, I would like to issue a challenge:  Anyone who can beat me (best 2/3) at air hockey will get a free beverage of their choice from the Tully's downstairs.  Let's make this shit real.

Lucky Strike has an odd promotion they just emailed about...

Quote
Lucky Strike and TBS have teamed up to celebrate the arrival of The Big Bang Theory to this very funny network!

Now you can catch episodes of The Big Bang Theory on TBS every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night.  GENIUS!

And what better way to celebrate than with a scientifically proven good deal?

From now until October 31st, come into Lucky Strike and get the Big Bang Cheeseburger + Fries for only $8 (plus tax)! BAZINGA!

It's amusing, because the characters from TBBT would probably get the same strange looks most of us get when playing PIU, if they could get past the dress code requirements. (Note: I actually don't know how strict they are on the dress code anymore)

8000 pts. @ $50

16000 pts. @ $100

Ratios are the same for both...

How many points is a $30 card? And wow, I wake up from a nap, the first thing I do is check the forums, and I see plenty of good news. Thank you Power Play.
I know you get 3000 points for $20, but the next highest bonus after 20 comes at the $50 range, I think.
