Yeah Pro's 2P pad is getting a bit weird... the 9 button was double triggering when I wasn't even stepping on it...

Also, the 3 button dropped a freeze on Papa Gonzales hard resulting in 4 perfs and a miss... Kevin got 5 perfs and a great and I won. Weird.

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

I probably should be calling these in but by the time I remember, I'm home already =\

Popn, DDR, and ITG worked great.
Pro's 2P side up right arrow is a bit weird; I think unsensitive as I was getting a few delayed inputs.

Thanks!

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

WE got my card restored on the very last try :] We tried it like 10 times. We didn't know why it wouldn't work but it would take a blank card into the slot as if it was gonna transfer the data, but nothing was writen to it,then it would go to the 403 screen again. It even spit out a couple blanks. The machine is useable now but I'm sure the error wll come back to torture people once more. Both machines are working perfectly, the acceleration is perfect for both sides. Thank you bill. I bow to thee Smiley

Did the tech get by there and get you taken care of?  Is the machine running well without 403 erros now?  thx

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

Were having a bit of a problem with the 403 error bill. It keeps poping up. Even when we try to restor it. I'm afraid to leave cuz I know if someone else puts their card in that slot my data will be lost forever. What should we do?

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

Well the good news is the acceleration is normal now. I tested both sides and its working beautifully. Bad news is it didn't spit my car back out once I restarted it. Sad I spent over 300 dollars on that card. Please tell me I can get it back through the machine options recovery. I will wait for help to arive. Your still my hero for getting the machines acceleration normal Smiley back to waiting for help haha. Your the best bill <3

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

Oh good, you called.  Service should be out tonight.  You could cure the problem yourself, as well.  The machine would need to be pulled out a bit and rebooted by unpluging for a moment.  On reboot, I would guess it would spit your card back out and be playable again.  Anyhow, if you decide to do that, and it works, you could call tghe service number agian and cancel the trouble call.  Thx.

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

ID4 had its gas and brake pedals recalibrated today.  Please let us know if that cured the problem.  Also, checked ITG2 down arrow once again, and it seems fine.  But as always, please give a follow up report on if it's working well now.  Thx

Other news:  for the driving game crowd, new Maximum Tune 3's arriving early February, about two weeks.   Smiley

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

Nope It was the same as always. Sad I was told the way to get the acceleration to 100% was in the machine settings mode. We cant get to that without your help though. XD The problems not with the controls, but with the acceleration settings the machine is set on. I Will try to find a link to it. Cheesy thanks for trying though. We had a big crowd today and everyone lined up for the right side as usual.

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

Hey Bill sorry to bug you but People from cali came down to play initial D version 4 and they mentioned to me that the acceleration in initial d 4 is not at max. We tested it and no matter what the right player always passed the left player in the begining of every race. this makes it unfair to people that play on the left side, me being one of them. I also hold most of the records on the machines but i cant put them online for the official initial d v4 world ranking because the acceleration settings are killing my time by 10 to 20 secconds. Alot of us initial d players would love it if both machines were set at 100 accel so it would be fair for everyone, and for us time attackers to submit our records and  let other people recognize that some of the best players in the usa are here at acme. Cheesy

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

Ah, okay. Like I said, sorry for my uninformed comments.

I guess this is something to take up with the software dev team more than anyone, but I'm really suspicious that the coin lock glitch happens when coins are deposited at some certain interval.  It NEVER (important note: AS FAR AS I KNOW) has happened on the first coin, or the first coin after a brief pause.  Every time I've seen it happen was on a coin entering at close interval after the preceding coin.

Also next time I go I'll pay a bit more close attention at what's seemingly broken, my last post was pretty useless ;p

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

The reason for having one door on PIU reject coins is to test the games software for a potential glitch.  Their are two coin input wires to the games computer, coin 1 and coin 2.  We wnated to see if this credit lock on situation only occured with one input, which we now know is not the case.  Kyle ward is working with us on this ordeal.  You see, this cabinet was fine for all the years until this new program was installed, which makes us wonder about a software program issue.

ITG, I see our tech visit Saturday night did not turn up the faulty sensor.  Another tech is there right now, and going to give a shot at finding the bad sensor on ITG.  If you play it tonight, after around 7:00 P.M., please report back if we have solved the issue with the player 1 down arrow.  If not, I will go up there myself to troubleshoot the situation Tuesday if I hear back from any of you by Tuesday morning.  As always, thanks for the help!

PnM: Couldn't reproduce any problems whatsoever -- the button was sticking BAD the other day so you guys probably cleaned it, thanks.  If not, thanks for all your work anyway Smiley

DDR:SN: 2P Down OR Right gave me at least 2 misses

PRO: Coin problem reproduced on 1P side Tongue  Also 2P ummm... I think down left arrow was being a bit unresponsive.  I'm not certain at all on which panel, I didn't pay close enough attention and also most of the time I played on the 1P.  I know it was a persistent problem though.

ITG is still all sorts messed up according to amber

That's all I played today.

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

I bet the Pop'n Music button just needs a good cleaning.  I know I got the Gameworks button working better by just holding it down, and grinding it a bit.  I think something got stuck between the outside plastic ring and the button.

Hopefully that PiU:P glitch gets fixed soon.

Re: Location: Acme Bowl [PiU:PRO is HERE!]

bill: two things

PRO: I don't know if right side is accepting or not right now, but I can say with 100% certainty that the coin slot jamming problem occurs on both sides -- foy watched me do it to the 2P side.  I suppose I don't know exactly what you are trying to do, but it seems like turning one coin acceptor off won't necessarily allow you to isolate the problem.  If I'm missing something, sorry for sounding like a smartass.  The roxor/andamiro/whatever dev team is aware of this problem, just as an fyi.

pnm: Okay, now that you mention it, it reminds me of something.  USUALLY they just jam down in a chronic on state until shock/time gets them loose (thus they just need cleaning or lube).  However, infrequently (last time I was there, that is), there was a button that didn't respond.  I can't remember for certain but it was either button 1 or 2.  I don't know if it's related to sticking, I'll see if it can be reproduced tonight.
