Washington Square Mall Dave & Buster's on the way

Just heard from Sammy last night that they're going to be building a new Dave & Buster's at Washington Square.  Eta 5-6 months

I've never see a D&B's without at least a dance game so the news is pertinent. On the other hand, I did go to one in Long Island, NY whose one dance game was a DDR 1.0, but all of the other ones I've been to on the East Coast stock the latest PIU.

In other news, looks like I no longer have my old D&B's point card, but I do still have a couple hundred tickets from pre-2000!

Since this was just zombie resurrected, I figured I'd add a useful update.

Looks like this location never opened. Dave & Buster's website doesn't show any locations in Oregon or Washington (or even Idaho).

Thread is getting closed as this is old and not happening. If it does happen, make a new thread and I'll merge them.

I actually checked again recently and got confirmation that it is definitely coming, but no idea when.
That and another arcade might be opening up in Beaverton after Ground Kontrol finally does their renovations (whenever that is <_<)

I like to maintain a certain level of decency in public.
Already makes you better than most people.  ;P

But yeah.  D&B's is a national chain who gets told what games to stock from higher powers. I haven't seen any campaign to get D&B's to pick up an obscure/niche title to work. Give it a shot if you want, but I understand the level of pessimism.

And we're not grumpy.. just jaded.  Oh so very jaded.

I think we could get five, really~
Dude, shirts are meant to stay on. Even I wouldn't take my shirt off playing DDR. I like to maintain a certain level of decency in public.
Probably not with D&B.
We'll see :U

I also usually get what I want when I talk with management about dancing games.

Probably not with D&B.

And no, I do not represent anyone as annoying- I'm just a very enthusiastic person.

I'm not gonna ask you to substantiate that claim, but I hope so Wink

Presenting the community as annoying is not the correct approach to getting games.

Once this project is complete (if it's really happening!) I can totally plaster the management for specific dancing game requests.

Okay, this sounds really tight. There are multiple buslines that go down there from downtown Portland!
