Is it possible to make a poll attached to a post within a thread? My thought was this; In the Custom Simfiles thread, allow people to make a poll in conjunction with their post so that when they post a reply with their new simfile while also creating a poll to rate the quality of their stepchart.

I actually wouldn't worry about it, Jon. We don't have a large amount of people posting simfiles constantly and the current system is probably more than adequate. It was just a thought I had and wanted to share.

I like the idea, although I don't think we can.

There are no mods to SMF that would give us this functionality.
I can think of 1 way it would work, which would be embedding polls hosted on other sites into the thread, but to do that I'd have to enable the [html] tag to be used within posts, which would create a lot of potential security issues.

If anyone has any other possible ways it could work, I'd be happy to explore them.

An alternative: I'd be willing to make a new sub-forum just for our simfiles, and each simfile can get a thread... how does that sound?
