Dan, Tom, our ladies and myself will be at PowerPlay sometime this Saturday. Probably sometime around 3 - 7  PM. If anyone wants to meet up we'll be there with our video camera to show the world how purty this machine is.

So Rain, Null and I all went to PowerPlay for some PiU today. We had an interesting guest show up to lay down some hip moves...G. None other than Chris Foy showed up to check out the latest PiU: Pro spot. We played a few rounds with the guy and had fun chatting with him.

It was pretty awesome getting to meet one of the more prominent guys on the ITG2 and PiU:Pro team.

Here's some videos taken with my cellphone's camera. Sorry about the poor quality, but I'll post some that Null took with his high end camera once we get'em uploaded.

Btw, he fuxing ROX at PiU:Pro! <--

Edit: The patch is working as is the encore pack. All is right in the arcade.

Good to hear the patch is up and running; I was starting to know a few unlock codes by heart.

I haven't been by PP in awhile despite living less than a mile away (been too busy).  I should make my way over again at some point.

Oooooooooh Sexy. I'll definitely be there to check out the new system. Even if I'm not a Pump Freak I can still enjoy a good dance game.

So I went in today and asked 4 different staff people about the location test and none of them had any clue what I was talking about, much less what Pump It Up Pro even was. Poor show, Power Play, poor show.

Anyway the machine works well and I got a 95.xx on Summer CZ so that is cool.

Stay tuned to the forum this week.  We have something FUN in the works!  We are working closely with the programming and development team of PIU Pro 2 and want to make sure we have eveything dialed in.  Following the Fun Expo in Vegas a week ago we changed up the test schedule and did not tell the local staff.

As always thank you for your interest and support of Power Play.

Should be exiting. I'm all ears. Or eyes. Or whatever is appropriate for a forum.

I have noticed that ALOT of Bemani dancers wear Puma shoes.  Someone told me at the Gaming Show in Vegas at the Andimiro and DDR booths that they prefer that particular style of show because it gives the player a quicker response time.

I think they said it was either the slide or blade or edge?  Can anyone out there tell me?  It is very important info.

Thanks Yack-Town O.G.

It used to be the Puma Tapers, but I don't think they make those anymore. I'll try and find out for you what it is that people are using now. It's really funny, the dancing game community has actually pretty much bought out the remaining unused stock of the Tapers and consequently driven up the prices massively.

If you go to the AIJ Markeplace forum, it's all about Puma Tapers. Personally, I like my NewBalance 993's, but I'm more of an accuracy player and not a 13+ stamina nazi.

Honestly... I have no idea, dude. I just told a bunch of people I wanted to run tournaments for them, and now I'm involved in everything, apparently! :O

Sorry to put you in that funky position Laura!  I looked at what you put into the Sakura-Con Tourney and realized I have been neglecting the community in my own back yard!  Power Play will be hosting a number of Player oriented events and tourneys!

I haver no doubt that you will be on the front edge of those...so again, thank you in advance!

Does this mean we should disregard the special email invites some of us may have gotten for this event?

The emails told you there would probably be an "official RSVP" message.

The Facebook event is the official RSVP.
