Okay, I just went in today. I talked to someone who is either the manager or owner (I don't know) and he said that there's definitely a possibility of them getting Fiesta if enough people play Pump there again. The pads are in great condition and the monitor is pretty decent. USB slots work and he does have a few USB drives left for sale in case anyone doesn't have them. Come and Pump It Up!
Just a heads up, Waterfront will be getting NX2 as soon as it's released. Latest word from Andamiro suggests an early January release, right after WPF07. It's already been released in Korea and there's videos floating around Youtube. You can see the new songlist at ph-online.net. It looks really really good. If you haven't seen the promo video, please do: http://www.piugame.com/nx2/promotion/nx2Promotion_en.swf It features a totally revamped unlock system that relies on points you accumulate through Worldmax and Arcade mode, so you can choose whatever you want to unlock. High scores, Worldmax status, and current unlocks are all saved to your USB drive. It also features the long awaited return of Seo Taiji to Pump It Up, with THREE exclusive songs from him and his past band.
Edit> Forgot to mention, the staff here is currently refurbishing a DX cabinet which will have NX once they get NX2 here. So expect a fully unlocked NX machine in another location soon.
What's up everyone. I just moved to the area and am currently in corporate housing a block away from this arcade. So I've been heading down and playing Pump a lot. I've never seen anyone else playing there though, I must be going at the wrong times. Sucks the air hockey table is right there, that damn thing is loud.
I chatted with the dude that works there that actually likes pump it up. He says two sensors are dead but more are on order. I also told him which arrows are the worst and he'll check them out on Thursday. He's aware of the bar wobbliness but he's also aware that it requires rewelding them and obviously that's a big ordeal to go through. So yeah they know how to fix it but i guess they're just not aware of the level of quality the machine needs to be at for players like us. =\
oh and he likes the big screen more than small ones u_u
