Hi okay so basically I am moving to Seattle next week Wednesday (I'm going to be a freshman at UW) and I want to meet some of you guys especially since Davyn/KevinDDR/whatever/whoever expressed likewise interest in this sort of thing, so we should use this thread to potentially coordinate some kind of BEMANI PARTY sort of thing where I get to meet some of you guys.

Chickensnack also recently moved to Bellevue and I think he was interested too.

So what is the best place to do this sort of thing?

OKAY GO

I'm pretty much consistently in Seattle on Saturdays from now until April, which means I'll probably be going to Gameworks or Acme in the afternoon every Saturday. I would obviously vote for Gameworks, because, y'know, FEVER but whatever works best for others is fine with me.

Amber (my girlfriend) says she might go.  She plays a lot of music games.  She's really good at the dancing kind.

I've got a Gameworks card with a fair amount of points on it from when I was in Seattle for PAX.  Last time I was there, I didn't nearly get to spend enough time with F-Zero AX and Afterburner Climax.  I'm also curious to see how my new car handles 3hr trips.  So count me in whenever.

Acme has no fighting games. GW has some, I'm not sure which ones though.

Although the UW Hub has one Marvel vs Capcom 2 (I think...) and there are always a group of Asian guys playing there that are pretty good (at least compared to me who doesn't play at all.

GW at least has 2 Tekken 5's (no dr..), tekken 4, tekken tag, VF3, and SC3. theres like 4-5 2D fighters too but i forget what.

GW is best spot i know of fighters.. some games have crowds sometimes.. MvC2 i think..

hey, i'd vote for acme just because the better quality of machines and crap. even though it doesn't have fighting games, it has copious amounts of dancing games, and odds are if we all end up at gameworks, it'll be an expensive brawl to play popn music. Sad

and toph, if you need a ride to acme sometime, i live in the u-district and would be more than happy to take you for a little gas money, assuming you aren't too terribly awkward and weird Cheesy

and hi folks
