They have ITG 1 for 1 token also.  That's .25, but the timing is a bit late and there's a bright light above the machine that causes glare, but you get 4 songs, so this is a place to go if you want to play cheap dance games and don't care about score that much...

Apparantically...

The pads on ITG do work pretty good, but you have to hit the hands pretty hard.

This place is still cool. 1P side is good as always and 2P side is garbage

Still the best place for cheap ($.50) DDR Extreme. 2P side still sucks though

Oh, I weren't sure who you were, Ctrl+Z, due to the name change, but your comments are still the same as I remember.  Guess who I am... oh, nevermind, it tells you on the left, but hey, Chuck E Cheese is still awesome too!

Oh shit how you been man? You disappeared for a while haha. I stopped going to Chuck E Cheeses after the pads started getting fucked up. I mainly go to Acme nowadays

The pads on Pump Zero seem fine to me, and for 25 cents, it's worth playing there still.  Yeah I did disappear for a good while, but I still play dance games, Acme is so far to go that I don't go there much at all, but I do NOT go to Narrows, because, well, you know, or you might not, but I think you do... as far as I'm concerned, they can go to hell.  That's all I'll say, but as for Chuck E Cheese's, maybe we could meet up again sometime in the near future when I get a few bucks.

By the way, what's with the name change?  Ctrl+Z sounded cool!  You should keep that one.

Again, anyone know if this machine is still around?  Not in Z-i-V's database.

i heard yesterday that the previous arcade owner recently auctioned off a bunch of the games (including In The Groove) and called it quits, but there are now some Masterman games there, including an ITG2 (possibly Dedicab) and DDR Extreme (which there was one of before with the previous owner). i'm gonna go check it out today and i'll report back with my findings...

UPDATE: ITG2 is at B&I! r22, custom songs enabled, .75 for 3 songs. needs content unlocks or to have the unlock system turned off. pad on right side works really good but i didn't try out the left side and screen looks pretty good for a not-dedicab. i'm not exactly used to the higher framerate, but it's good to see things scrolling that smoothly again...

DDR EXTREME is there as well. .75 for 3 songs + extra stage if you earn it. needs unlocks done. i only played on the right side and the right selection arrow needs to be fixed and enter button needs to be looked at maybe. pad worked fine as far as i could tell though. screen right edge looks compressed a bit graphically and the brightness was a little high, but not too bad of a machine.

i'm horribly out of shape so i only played up to level 9s.

hey, just popping in to give another update...

i played the ITG2 today and used my 64GB (actually 59.5GB) USB drive with it reformatted to FAT32 from exFAT and the machine accepted my device and i'm able to save my stats, but my custom songs didn't show up at all... i have 76 custom songs on my drive in a custom songs folder in the main Songs folder i created, but again, the machine didn't read any of them even though they're the right formats (.ogg audio under 5 MB, .sm stepfiles)... i got a tech guy to access the system options and the custom songs feature IS turned on, so i'm not sure what's going on, maybe i just need to use a drive where FAT32 is the default partition format?

also, i played one game on the left side and i played Pandemonium on medium on my 3rd song and i think the down and maybe left arrows were giving me "way-offs" when i was stepping on other arrows in the sequences, like the right and up might've been causing the other arrows to trigger early or something? the song is really fast so i'm not exactly sure what caused what to happen...

the right side plays perfectly fine as far as i can tell though...

EDIT: i just had a thought... i have an EP in a folder with a title starting with D, and maybe the machine tried to load contents from it before the In The Groove 2 folder and maybe it timed out before it got to it? i don't know if the machine will try to load just anything that's on a drive or if it ignores certain filetypes, but maybe moving the non-ITG contents elsewhere might help? i've moved the stuff just in case, so i'll try it again soon...

i have 76 custom songs on my drive
itg will only load up to 50 songs and it will only ever look in the In The Groove 2 folder. i'd say try a much smaller capacity drive.

i got a new Kingston 16 GB flash drive as shown in my user photo and tested it today. i got to play a few songs from DDR 2013... it's like difficult is the new maniac for some of those, but then again, i'm also out of shape...

anywho, yes, i tried another drive and everything worked perfectly!

played a bunch at B&I today, mostly ITG2, but also a couple rounds of DDR. first round of DDR, i cleared MAX300 with an A, but the sound was turned all the way down, so that was interesting to play a dance game with no sound. i talked to a worker there and said i had no problems playing, the sound was just off, but they gave me a refund even though they didn't have to, but they said to go ahead and use it on another game or whatever. by the time i played the second round of DDR, the sound was back up, so no worries there. the game still needs unlocks, but that requires codes to be entered somewhere in the system menu or something...

i discovered that ITG2's current revision [r22] cuts long custom songs off after a certain point like r23 was announced to do, so if you're playing here, remember that the customs do cut off after 2 minutes and whatever seconds...

all in all, a good day today! set some records and pushed myself pretty hard, played a lot of hard 9s and whatnot...

played a bit of the ITG today. we got all those unlocks done! thanks again to Bill for being there to let me access the system options to turn off the menu timer and do the unlocks!

there's a slight issue with the P1 down arrow sticking a bit. i noticed it after i finished entering the unlocks and started a game.
