So the arcade can suffer huge financial loses when the machine only causes rapid fan interest for the first 3 months, leaving it to collect dust soon after.

I'm joking, of course. But I would feel bad for the establishment if they invest in something only a handful of people will use for a limited period of time.

I would recommend against them upgrading to fiesta ex right now.  By the time they get the kit, Fiesta EX2 will be out by then (or soon after).

The word from staff here is that upgrading to Fiesta EX is not definite since usage of this machine is declining. So, everyone should come to this place more often! It'll be easier to park nearby once tourist season ends. Pads are in great condition, I don't think the replacement monitor lags at all, and the K-pop tracks are compelling.

If you ever get the chance, head over to Power Play in Bellevue; they've got PIU Pro 2, and that's where the majority of us hang out sometimes too.

Oh my god, PIU is amazing there. The pads were flawless and I had an amazing time doing doubles. Best game I've played in Seattle.

Probably not as much as they'd like (they did skip upgrading to Fiesta), but they're fans of the piu series, so they like to keep it current when they can. They'll also switch screens with the ocean hunter, which is a much larger vizio tv than the one on the piu machine now.

Is Pump still making them money?  That's awesome!

I just updated the thread again. The DX monitor died and has been replaced with an LCD. Oh well. Machine still works fine. There's one NX2 USB drive left for sale if anyone wants it. Just ask up at the counter.

Anyone of you guys still come here anymore? I've only recently started frequenting this place again to refresh my PIU skills after many months of not playing seriously.

No, I have the opposite reaction; where I think it's pretty awesome that I'm on a pier and playing arcade games. I am also much lighter. heh

Anyone else get weirded out about stomping on a dancing game about 10ft above the ocean's surface? I can't help but shake the feeling that one day, my fat ass will make the machine, me, and half the arcade fall straight through the floor and into the ocean.

Okay, I just went in today. I talked to someone who is either the manager or owner (I don't know) and he said that there's definitely a possibility of them getting Fiesta if enough people play Pump there again. The pads are in great condition and the monitor is pretty decent. USB slots work and he does have a few USB drives left for sale in case anyone doesn't have them. Come and Pump It Up!

I can't believe how many times I've walked by this place without knowing about it. Granted I've only lived here for a year, but still. Well I'm gonna check it out when I get back to Seattle. I want to get better at PIU badly.

They have a Guitar Hero machine. It's $.75 and does the "high score board covers the entire screen at all times" thing when it gets too hot. It's next to the NXA where Ocean Hunter was, so there's no bench to sit on now. But they told me they'll probably move it by the counter so the two games don't interfere. They should move Hammer 2 and that air hockey though.

I got my NXA USB so hopefully I can dedicate some time to new missions. But the weather doesn't look too friendly for the next few days.

Sorry but they already went and got it before I saw your post. But if I (we? you should be back when you read this) can get to the new missions before my new USB comes in I'll let you keep the NX2 one I just started. If I can still get the four secret songs with a new USB they should be opened up on the machine for anyone as well.

If you're getting a USB can I have one too? I'll pay you whatever you have to pay plus $10.
