Is Tekken 7 still available at this location?

I believe it was just a limited-time location test.

By the way, the Gitadora guitar and drumset both have the headset jack hacked onto them now.  Saw it on friday night when I went; looks like the tradeoff was reduced output volume from both machines.  Also, the right speaker for the drummania machine wasn't working at all when i was there.

I didn't have a headset on me but you'd probably need a long cord for the drummania jack unless you want to get tangled up in it.  I'll try to stop by this week and make certain whether or not all right channel output from the machine is messed up or not.  It's pretty hard to play drummania when you can't hear the whole right side of the set!

Hey AlphaConqueror, I guess the "High Touch Campaign" thing where you can unlock unlocks by playing session with people who already have them is starting up again in celebration of the Konami Arcade Championships. Sounds like we need to figure out a time next week and play through all of the unlocks so I can have them! Tongue

Yo Kevin,
Wednesday the 30th is probably the only weekday next week I could go if you want to aim for sometime in the evening around 6-7.  Let me know.

Other than that I might go sometime during the New Year weekend but am uncertain.

ALSO, note that when kevin and I were playing gitadora earlier this week, looks like the drums have the working splitter now and the guitar has the borked one.  Hopefully they will fix that soon...

hi Kevin,
Didn't hear back from you, so maybe I'll see you tomorrow? I imagine I will be there from 5-6 at this point actually just dude to the light workload this week.  Hope to see you.

Also, the splitter still hasn't been fixed/replaced on the GuitarFreaks part of the Gitadora.

Splitter is fixed on Gitadora, both machines have good sound output through speakers and I did not test headphones, but they should work.

New Gitadora unlock requiring you to play 4 songs that scroll by quickly at the end of any playset.

The song you unlock with these is pretty damn cool.

Guessing it's 6 credits like all of the other current music games (ie, not PNM).

BTW I figured out that the 4 songs that scroll by at the end of your session in Gitadora are different for everyone...my bad.  so I guess you have to figure out the 4 songs on your own...

With Museca's arrival, things have shuffled around a bit. PNM is now to the right of the employee door. Sound Voltex is where PNM used to be, and Museca is where Sound Voltex used to be.

Also, it seems like the IIDX machines have been turned up a bit.

Some idiot tried to lay down on the rightmost IIDX machine's controls last night.  Didn't look like he broke anything (on the machine... if he broke something on his own body, he would deserve it).

I haven't played Museca yet.  Anyone who has tried it have opinions to share?  The bright white screen turns me off from it a bit.  Also, someone who was playing one of the machines advised me that it is better to wear gloves while you play, though he didn't say why.  Apparently the buttons are both pressable and rotatable, and there are lines radiating from the center of the buttons, so perhaps this hurts your fingers if you are desperately thrashing around trying to hit things without gloves.

I think the card Generator is down on Sound Voltex at the moment.  Late last night the lights on it were red, and the machine attached to it wasn't offering the ability to pay two credits to play a game with it activated.

I shared my opinion on Museca here. Overall, meh.

Some pop'n players use gloves so I can see that. It probably helps in moving rapidly between buttons and not injuring yourself.

Randomly stopped by after only having heard about this. I knew there was IIDX, but didn't realize there was such a great selection of other rhythm games. Any of them alone would be worth stopping by for, but having them all is just amazing.
Museca is pretty cool, had issues with the menu, but the gameplay is interesting and has a pretty unique feel. The alignment certainly takes getting used to though.

There were new Secret Expert course unlocks added last night after the Konami Arcade Championship (and one new song that's available to all...I think, it's still got a rainbow colored tile so I don't know if it's available to users without cards).

I'm glad they're tightening up the security at R1, But who let the racist guy in last night?
I've dealt with this before but damn that guy takes the cake for being the most annoying.

Probably, since 2014 had a US location test before A was released.

One interesting question that comes to mind is how it'll work for people using eamuse cards between the different games, since none of the other stuff has US versions...

groove coaster 3 is here. They were running in offline mode though.

Groove Coaster is still in offline mode, with no IC cards allowed, so presumably no way to keep track of your scores.  My current attitude towards it is that for 6 credits, I can play three songs on Sound Voltex III or Beatmania IIDX, but only two songs on Groove Coaster... so why bother?  It seems OK enough as a game, but if I can play 50% longer on the game I'm already familiar with, I'll just stick with SDVX.

Noticed they had two Disney Tsum Tsum machines around the corner from Groove Coaster.  Don't know how new that is.

Groove Coaster has a difficulty higher than HARD but you have to unlock it, which requires an IC card. Bummer that it's still offline.

It looked like they were being installed or something when I was there last Sunday (at the very least one of the techs had one of them open). There was a recent tweet about them from R1.

One of the Groove Coasters looked like it was trying to download an update when I was there as well, but it was going extremely slowly (it was at 0.45% or something when I left). Not sure if that has any link to the online/offline state.
