Anyone want to try another game of Werewolf on the board?

I'll recap the rules I'm using if anyone doesn't know/remember how to play.

I'm shooting for starting next week (Monday, June 11th) with a 7pm PDT lynch and a 9pm PDT night order deadline. If that doesn't work for enough people, I'll move it.

Things would work out best if:
You have *at least* 10 minutes to post during the 'day' (just m-f; weekends are off)
You have at least 10 minutes to send me PMs during the 'night' (7-9pm)
You have some form of instant messenger (or check your email a lot).

If you've got more time than that, well splendid.

Let me know if you're in. We'll need at least 7/9/11/15 people to play. Obviously more people=more fun.

Yay, I have a vote against me thanks to random chance.

Randomness in earlier rounds and the big derailment (due to an outside source, technically) partly led to last game sucking, so BlueSS and Ryouga aren't doing so well in my book.  Also, jumpy accusations are always a bit suspicious, meaning OneMoreLaurvely.  Also, voting randomly to get attention off of you:

Welp, in that case, to keep the heat off of me:

[Vote The Wise Fool]

We still don't have much to work with, but I see two reasons to go with Ryouga and one or less for everyone else, meaning

Vote Ryouga

Unless people start posting good theories or the wolves really mess up and reveal themselves, either BlueSS or OML is next on my list.

I'm not voting randomly at all; I voted The Wise Fool to put the vote count on him up to 2, so that I wouldn't get targeted.

Though I suppose that's kind of suspicious too as his vote would have won, being the earliest.

But hey. Clearly, I'm a wolf, and wolves lie! So obviously I'm lying right now and any points I make in my defense are what a "skilled wolf" would say, so I can't be trusted.

I don't even care if I'm voting for a wolf or not in the first round, I'm hunting for players who create problems.  Last game included Tada's jumpy accusations for almost the whole thing, and he only suspected a wolf by the pigeonhole principle and yet people would occasionally follow his lead for a lynching; until I have actual evidence, I'm voting for people who seem to be throwing a wrench into logical voting schemes.  Whoever voted for The Wise Fool first isn't much better, but at least they were a little more subtle about it.

I would rather know where everyone else is than whether someone is supposedly lying or not, since there's not much we can go on.

/I always hate the quiet players.

EDIT TO LAST POST: For those not familiar with the pigeonhole principle (possibly theorem, I don't remember), it basically states that n + 1 things don't fit into n slots (extremely intuitive, I know); in werewolf terms it means that making 8 accusations with only 7 villagers and 2 wolves means you had to accuse at least one wolf.

When/how did Tada do that last game?

I was too preoccupied with someone jumping into the game who wasn't playing.

wait how does that even work in this game? No wonder you hated him.

@BlueSS: You don't remember when he accused me of being a wolf for making a joke involving Pizza Hut?  He kept using little things that were frequently parts of jokes (which were obviously jokes) as evidence against us; he didn't really get around to accusing everybody but he did accuse a portion of the players independent of any real situational analysis.  And yeah, outside interference and the ensuing issues were pretty bad, possibly worse than a random player; though it did almost let me win with all that heat on you.

Oh, ok, I didn't get the association between that and your theory mentioned above.

And I was pretty darn close to getting you last game...  coughbadlauracough.

I didn't even know what the pigeonhole principle was last game.  I hadn't been through CSE 321 yet, and it was my first game of werewolf.

So is there any reason behind that vote, or is it just random?

I'd like to point out here that Laura and Tony are the only two (not including tada who just jumped on board) who thought I was at all suspicious, and they both made up very wild and illogical reasons why they were going along with.

Out of game relationships aside, one might say that they were the two wolves because they seem to be working together instantly here. The actual reasons named are quite "off" - I mention "Aww, darn" in a joke and Laura uses that to pin me; Tony simply builds off her mention and says I'm "voting randomly" when really it'd be clear to anyone that I was simply covering my own ass.

If we're going to talk about lynching people based on random jokes that only tangentially have to do with the game... but hey, whatever, enjoy yer handbasket.

"Cheapskates." Ryouga muttered to himself, fumbling through his pockets for change. "I have to chip in for gas, I have to buy my own tent, I have to *forego my christmas bonus* so we can buy RVs for this trip... and they have the NERVE to not put the ITG machines on freeplay?!?!"

He paused. "Uh, crap. Did I say all that out loud? In front of all of these steadfastly loyal employees who would not only die, but kill for the glory of Roxor?"

"Yes! you did!" they yelled back.

Well, drat. Remind me to work on keeping my inner monologue TO MYSELF next time, he thought.

"We can still hear you." the crowd muttered, as they pitched the nonbeliever over a cliff.

Night orders are due by 9pm. If you are *absolutely certain* that you won't change your mind about your orders (you can change them up until the deadline), indicate such in PM. Add "I won't change this order." or something.

If everyone with night orders does so, I can post dawn sooner than say, 10 or 11pm. :P

Eesa couldn't sleep. Maybe it was the ominous chill in the air. Maybe it was the sharp, jagged rocks stabbing her in the back from terrible campsite Roxor picked out. Whatever it was, it was obviously time to get up.

"Hey, can you give me a hand?" someone said. Walking out for a closer look she saw that someone was reaching under one of the ITG 2 cabs.

"What did you need?" she asked.

"I was going to play one more game tonight, but I dropped my last quarter under the machine. I can lift it; do you think you can reach it for me?" the shadowy figure said, beckoning toward the machine.

She agreed, and reached under the cabinet. "Just a little further", they encouraged her.

"That's perfect. Thanks." the mysterious person who, now that she thinks about it, dressed an awful lot like a lawyer said, as the dedicab slammed down on her head.

I've had enough requests; Night Orders are now due by 10pm on Wednesday. Extending it by an hour to see if that helps any.

ALSO, ALSO, OMG IMPORTANT

The angry yellow glow of the change machine warning light was something ancsik was used to seeing. He just wasn't expecting to see it HERE.

"That's silly." he muttered, entirely to himself, since he didn't want to catch the same fate ryouga did. "Why would we bother taking these on the trip if they were already close to empty?"

Then inspiration hit him. He'd simply wait until no one was around, break into one of the dedicabs, break into one of the change machines, empty the dedicab hopper into the change machine, and seal both in such a way that no one would ever know! Brilliant!

...He got as far as the first part, before he got caught. And summarily executed for treason. Nobody messes with Roxor Entertainment's money.
