old shit but whatevs

finished Pulstar on one life

1,339,000 on Strikers 1999 (2-3)
47.6 mil on Raiden Fighters 1 (2-4)
3,925,240 on Under Defeat (2-4)
568,100 on Last Resort (finished)
29.9 mil on ESPGaluda, apparently this is a bad score for finishing it
also finished ESPRade and Guwange but the scores weren't so great
86,448,409,638,380 on Giga Wing (finished)
99,999,999 on Chimera Beast but I'm the only person in the world who enjoys that game

a lot of other stuff I've probably forgotten

I've gotten PCB on Hard, but that game is so frusturating... no Spell practice mode = DOOOOOOOM
Imperishable Night seems easier than Th6 and 7 though.

I have 1LC'd Imperishable Night on Easy... that's gotta be the easiest Easy out of the whole Touhou series, though.

EOSD is probably the hardest 1LC. The games aren't very hard overall, esp when compared to Rayxamber or Radio Zonde.

I've probably finished some easy shooters on console on 1 life too but I just can't remember them.

and fuck Gradius III, that shit's too crazy. Not really in the mood to memorize a game right now just to have a chance at it  Sad

He must not have reflexes to play anything like strikers 1999 or R-Type, or even Samidare lol.
And Gradius III is not memorization, you can't memorize the Ice stage, or the part where the floor comes up lol.

Yes.  Just because I've only posted accomps from Touhou so far does not mean that's all I play.  Jesus.  Stop drawing conclusions so fast from TWO POSTS.  You'd fare even worse than me at Wolf.

Right now I am playing a lot of Mushihime-sama, but what accomplishments have I had in that recently?  "I failed arrange mode at the last boss for about the 20th time."  I've been steadily improving my scores on that (up to ~230 million right now in Arrange), but they aren't that impressive so I haven't been posting them.  If you'd read my posts, you'd also see I posted a Mushihime-sama accomplishment in the Non-music game thread before we had a forum for shmups.  I also like the Raiden Fighters series (especially 2), Do/DonPachi series, GigaWing series, Mars Matrix, and Espgaluda.  Compared to your scores on the games I know, mine are dumps, so why post them?

*cues thread hijack*

But more seriously, I guess I got within 100k of tada's score on RF1 at the waterfront.

Okay, maybe Gradius III isn't 100% memorization. But R-Type is waaaayy more memorization than something like Strikers 1999. You have to memorize the level, and if you die... you're fucked. Fun fact - I found an actual R-Type arcade machine at a bowling alley in Beaverton. That got me playing it in MAME some. I can't get past Stage 7. If you die midway through stage 7, YOU CAN'T SURVIVE. It's fucking impossible. It's the most ridiculous shit ever. It's kinda sad because I've never finished arcade R-Type legitimately.

Yeah, Gradius III and R-type have some of the most bullshit death recovery of any shmup. Strikers is a lot more reasonable. P.S. where is this bowling alley lol.

Why not post them? I suck at shooters too.
