Let us start with the world's best shooting game, Point Blank!

I want the chest with the heart+coins already, and to not lose a life IN THE BEGINNING.

Beat megaman x in roughly 45 mins... still 14 mins shy of a world record. But not a bad time

Beat Metal Gear Ac!d in 3 days, returned it and got MGA2 free. Cheesy

32/35 Special Cup 50cc Mario Kart 64.  Would have had a perfect set but Toad beat me on the first circuit by 0.04 seconds. :/
I couldn't remember the shortcut, but if you jump at the right time on Rainbow Road, you can cut 20-30 seconds off your time.  I've used this to lap the computer on 150cc and clear 3 laps in under 3 minutes before.

I remember years back, I submitted that Rainbow Road tip to Nintendo Power and I got a sweet millennium N64 controller. It was the happiest day of my life.

I have a feeling I have that issue somewhere...thinking about it I distinctly recall seeing Scott Philipp in one of the Arena scoreboards or something too in a few old issues. Am I right?

If there's anyone around here who can compete with me, I'd like to hear from you; this game's gotten kind of boring, because at this point the only thing I have to compete with are the time trial standards on mariokart64.com Tongue

Geometry Wars 2: Pacifism: 22.9million (not incredible, but pretty decent.  I don't expect that to be my high score for long.)

Phantasy Star Portable muthafuckin' 2

If you've ever played Phantasy Star Online/Universe/Zero and enjoyed it, this.is.the.game.  It's like Sega actually tried to make a good game instead of something that their fanboys would complain about but still buy and play.

JP onry for now, but it's on the PSP and that's region free.  It's selling too well to not get a localized release.  I just hope Sega actually gives it a decent budget so they can do a quality job with the localization, support, and advertising unlike PSO and everything afterwards.

16,388,294 high score on Raiden IV on the Xbox 360 in arcade mode on original difficulty.

Not too impressive, but I feel as if I'm finally getting back into the groove with shmups. I've been so outta touch with them for awhile.

I just really with I could play this game on a Taito Type-X machine. Then I could really test my skills.

Schlagwerk, PS Portable 1 on PSP was pretty... blah for me. I played the Dreamcast PSO a LOT, and the first one seemed to be a lame rehash. What are the differences that make #2 better?

PSPo was a stripped down version of Phantasy Star Universe.  Kinda a quick port if you will

PSP2 is like PSU 2.0.  It includes almost everything that PSU had, adds new missions, new systems (dodging and blocking to name two), and fixes tons of niggling gameplay issues from PSU/PSPo.  I always enjoyed the combat in PSU because it was more dynamic than in PSO (I played the GC version a LOT), but the leveling curve was too slow and not enough content.  Well PSP2 also rebalances that.  Also free internet multiplayer is back if you have a legit copy.

So I've been a fan of PSU, but always begrudgingly acknowledged that there were some things that PSO did better.  Now PSP2 feels much closer to a real sequel to PSO: Some of the things are the same, but there are a bunch of upgrades to the gameplay and underlying systems to make it stand out.
