Wibiya toolbar

Before you instantly write it off - there are some cool things it can do.

It does NOT SERVE ADS. Smiley

What it adds:
- Pulls PNWBemani's Facebook fan page into this site via the bar
- Pulls PNWBemani's Twitter profile into this site via the bar
- Allows you to post to either service.
- Live Site Chat
- Recent Posts no matter where you are on the site
- Button to return to top of page
- Button to easily post page to Twitter / Facebook / other sites.

I have always wanted to try it out, but understand it might be a huge nuisance or slow down the site for some users. I do not want to detract the site experience, so if the bar does that post and we can get rid of it asap!  I think it could be useful though.

GONE.

On the plus side, pages load faster now.
On the down side, the app generated 45 Facebook page likes and was the constant source of new fans to the FB page... Time to add the like button on-page instead of a toolbar.
Thanks. I also prefer it this way.

KILL IT DEAD

Arcades may have gone away, but their culture is not gone.

Does anyone mind if I get rid of the bar?  I thought it could be useful, but I never even use it myself really...

Re: Wibiya toolbar

Welcome, korin.

I don't know of a way to permanently disable it via a profile option right now, but there's the arrows to the very right of the bar that will minimize it to a tiny option.
Sorry for the annoyance. Smiley

Re: Wibiya toolbar

I also agree that maybe it should be optional. I don't use any of the services on the toolbar, and it is annoying to have a little box blocking part of my view.

I saw that literally right before I opened this thread. Tongue Yeah, that works.

Re: Wibiya toolbar

If you click the down arrows on the right of the toolbar, it should hide and remain small the next time you visit. Does that work for you?

Re: Wibiya toolbar

Can you make it optional? I'm still using a tiny netbook and those pixels really do make a difference. Wink
