Projects and finals are quickly approaching for me here. But I'd be up for it again.

I'm down. Or up, depending on your choice of slang.

I'd like to leave this up to someone else to set up, if possible.  Reason being that I have my new job now and in general I don't take sales trips on the weekends, but...

But I will throw out the last Saturday of May, the 26th, as a sample date.  How say you?

I vote for sometime in June, since I'll actually be - gasp - physically present in Washington state by then!  (OK, OK, by the 6th or so.)

But, uh, I'm not sure how much you guys want someone you've never met before crashing your karaoke party.  So maybe I'd better just hold out for the next one. Smiley

Yeah, it might be better for you to come because then you could meet more of us at once instead of here or there at random times. We wouldn't mind (at least I wouldn't).

I think that June would be pretty awesome, if not for me then for Tony, who has a lot of homework lately. Then again, I don't know why I keep trying to drag Tony to things that involve singing/socialization/fun. Tongue

Opposites attract? <ducks>

Anyway, if I can't make the next karaoke thing, it's not the end of the world.  After I've met a few of you in other venues, I'll host a big Bemani bash in my corp housing and we'll see whether my neighbors lynch me. Cheesy

Anyhow, this kind of died off.  I think we achieved two things: 1) June is good and 2) Arkaito can come.
So when is good?  I'll throw out a day: June 16th. Time: 7 PM
To distribute responsibility, I would appreciate it if someone else RSVP'd this time.  The website is here: http://www.sbkaraoke.com/pages/reservation.html

EDIT: Just noticed the BYOB Gold is on the next Saturday.  That doesn't affect my schedule, but maybe it affects some of yours.  If so, let us know.
Thanks.

I'd be up for it.  And it's on my b-day too. Smiley

EDIT: Looks like the SN tourney will be over well before 7, so no conflicts for anyone else either.

So we got Tada so far...hopefully some other people respond.  Especially since it'd be Tada's b-day it'd be nice to get people together for a quasi-birthday/karaoke shendig.

BTw, I found the best karaoke joint yet just last night...it is in South Tacoma actually.  It's a Korean karaoke place, but it is really quite posh, great sound systems, and a pretty decent song selection (though the largest chunk of it is korean music...but easily a wide variety of english and japanese and chinese songs as well).  It is called "Pierrot Music Studio" (Clown's music studio).  Anyone ever heard/been to it?

I really don't feel like driving all the way out to Tacoma, and I'm sure a lot of other people wouldn't like to either... I'd really just rather do SBK again, since I know it's a great place, and is much closer to a lot of us.  And I don't want my Japanese to get rusty before my adventure.

No worries, I wasn't suggesting it for this time.  I was simply pointing out its existence. I know you guys aren't too keen in general on venturing down to Tacoma, but...

But, I will guarantee you all; it is the best place I've yet found in the state.  In my opinion it is much much better than SBK.  In the future it'd be nice to do something down there.

Tony and I are in until about nine. Smiley

Also, I call dibs on making Tada's birthday cake.

That's too bad Jon, you'll be missed.

So we have 4 so far.  I actually should check with my g/f and Pete if they want to/can come.

You should change the title of the thread, IMO.

I was in South Tacoma way today with my dad (We ate at a szechuan place next to Pal-Do world) I was trying to keep an eye out for the pierrot place, but I didn't see it :/
