Hey all,
I noticed the information for arcades in this area hasn't been updated in a long time. Can anyone give some information on what's where around here? All I know for sure is that there is Supernova at Zeppoz here in Pullman. I'm kind of lazy and don't want to drive up to Spokane without a good idea of what I can find. :v

Judging from the discussion I've seen, I'm guessing there's no pop'n, IIDX, Technika, etc., on this side of the state, hm?

Thanks!

The Wonderland location is still pretty good; wish that it wasn't $1.00 for 3 songs, though.

Went there last week.  The machine is still good, but there are songs and charts missing.  IE, Vertex Squared is gone and Robotix Expert chart is missing.

Sounds like someone tried to hack it and ended up doing some bad things on accident.

Think resetting it will help?

Not with the problems you described. However, resetting a machine shouldn't hurt it. I used to reset the ITG machine at the place I used to go to every time I arrived. It helped make the USB drives load a LOT faster.

In general, computers of any type work well with an occasional restart. These machines are no exception. Next time you're there, I'd cycle the power and see if it helps at all. Probably won't fix most of the issues that thing seems to have, but it might helps clear up a few.

That being said, if this thing is super-hacked (and it sounds like it is/was, and poorly at that), then who knows what might happen. This thing might barely be functioning and held together with the PC/code equivalent to duct tape and chewing gum.

Yeah something is off.  I tried resetting it, and nothing.

I talked to the head maintenance guy and he doesn't know how the machine works at all.  Nice guy, but when it comes to ITG, he's clueless.

I can't wait to get out of here.  The arcade scene here is lacking.  I see you live in Mukilteo, Suko.  How's the rent there, figuring the proximity to Seattle?

Actually it sounds like there aren't any unlocks if certain officials are missing and expert charts are missing as well lol. That is so strange but can probably be fixed by entering pad codes iirc.

Compared to Seattle? It's fine. IIRC it's ~$1000/mo for a smaller apt. Less if you get a roomate and split a 2 bedroom. Mukilteo ain't exactly close to Seattle tho, and the mass transit to downtown is almost non-existent.

If you wanted to move to this area and not be in the middle of nowhere, I recommend Kirkland/Bothell or Lynnwood if you want to live in the North end. Or Renton seems to be a popular place (and a bit more ghetto from what I hear) if you want to live in the South end. Plus, it seems like the majority of arcades and activities always seem to end up in Seattle or Tukwila.

Codes didn't work. Sad  I did the ones on the first Google search; the ones from GameFAQs.  I guess I'll just upload the songs manually via USB.
